Many years ago, H&M had a Beverly Hills 90210 campaign and they started selling Luke Perry/Dylan McKay shirts. Oh, my young adult self promptly ran to the nearest H&M and bought a Luke shirt. A bit of nostalgia for the fictional character that had stolen my teenage heart. To now hear of his passing is heartbreaking. It has brought up a lot of memories. And to hear of all the kind words people have to say about Luke, makes me sadder to see him gone and happy that he was a good person too. I know you’ll have a hard time finding someone who did not grow up having a crush on this man. The profound impact he had on young people in the 90s and early 00s and on pop culture has not gone unnoticed. Luke Perry’s Dylan McKay was a true Icon. May he rest.
