Based on this poll I made

Tomura was voted the worst babysitter. However, I feel like with minimal effort he would at least sit them in front of a television (definitely playing something scary and inappropriate) and throw cheese balls at them every once in a while. It IS a possibility that he’ll lose the child, though. He’d just shrug and say “idk where it is, get a new one or something.”

Dabi’s first instinct would be to toss the kid outside and lock the door. (Personally, he was my vote for the worst babysitter) BUT at the very least he’d handcuff the kid to one of the barstools and leave it with a bag of chips. He’d leave the room and return to find the kid escaped the cuffs and is in Tomura’s room getting their sticky fingers all over his stuff. Only then will he think the kid is alright. He would definitely teach the kid how to commit arson.

Spinner would be the most anxious by far. Like “this kid cannot die or get hurt on my watch”. He’d follow the kid all around the bar like “don’t touch that- don’t go near that- don’t drink that”. The kid would repeatedly ask him if he has games on his phone. Spinner would say “Yes.” The child would ask if they could play them. Spinner would answer “Fuck no.” The kid would march around repeating the new word they just learned. Although he would think he did a bad job, in all reality, he did pretty good.

Toga would definitely be annoyed at first. Like why is she stuck babysitting? This was not in the League of Villains job description. After getting tired of being asked “What’s this? Who’s that? Can I play with that? Why not?” over and over, she would end up taking the kid along on a mission of her own. Shoplifting. It’s just a fun game!! You’ll win a prize!! They’d traverse the mall together, the child creating a distraction as Toga robs the local Sephora and several other stores. In the end, they made a pretty good team. Perhaps not the best role model, but they had a fun time.

Twice would be opposed at first, but as soon as the kid suggests “Wanna play pirates?” You’d catch Twice wielding a cardboard sword and an eyepatch, running around the bar play fighting with the kid. He’d even let the kid win— the first time. Then it’s serious. He’d pretty much be up for anything the kid would want to do. Cartoons? Yes. Macaroni art? Yes. Sneaking cookies from the kitchen even though he’s a fully grown man and can have one if he wants? Yes. It would be a day full of fun. The only bad moment was when they played hide and seek and Twice absolutely could not find the child… for two hours. The kid and Twice would both be exhausted by the end of it all. Twice had a lot of fun and he’d never want to do it again.

Bro no I'm not. I'm still thinking about how they never animated Spinner shouting "grand theft auto".

Shigaraki: Slams the door in their face

Dabi: Grabs the vacuum and slams the door in their face

Twice: Is too nice to turn them away, listens to their entire spiel, and ends up paying for a vacuum he doesn’t need

Toga: Talks their head off about Stain until the salesman is practically begging to leave

Mr. Compress: Somehow turns it around to where he sells the vacuum to the salesman and takes their money

Spinner: doesn’t even answer the door and/or stands behind the door and yells “No one’s home!”

Extra for fun

Magne: also doesn’t answer the door because she can’t be bothered, but will take time to visibly stand in the window, sip on a glass of wine, and glare.

Toga: “So true.”

You: “I just want someone to kiss at midnight.”

Thunderous roar of footsteps all clambering towards the room you’re in.

“Move—“

“You, move—”

Toga opens the door to see Shigaraki, Spinner, Dabi, Twice, and Mr. Compress all standing outside the room. They all pause and look at you immediately trying to play it cool.

Mr. Compress, whistling inconspicuously.

Twice: “I was just going this way- no that way- no this way—“

Spinner, frozen in shy-boy fear.

Shigaraki: “I need to speak with y/n alone—“

Dabi, pushing Shigaraki out of the way and leaning against the door frame: “Hey ♡”

Tomura was confused. He hated everything, heroes were the bane to his existence. Children were brats. Women were annoying. Then you came along. You with your lingering touches and sweet smiles. You with bright eyes and hopes for the future. What Tomura wanted was anarchy, to take down the society that allowed him to suffer.

What you wanted was to build a new society, where people helped each other. Tomura for the life of him, couldn't seem to figure out how those dreams led you here. What led you to the League?

Don't get him wrong, at times the League was like family, and at others they were hardly tolerable. But your laugh sank into his bones, and your cries shook his soul. You took over his thoughts and he didn't know what that meant, or what to do with them. Your frequent pins had him groaning obnoxiously, and yet, everytime he threatened you for saying them, you just shook your head and laughed. He let you laugh at him. He didn't know why.

Then there was Karaoke. You and Toga wanted to "let loose" and "have some fun", so you set it up and started singing a duet with that sharp toothed twerp. At the time all he did was look at you disdainfully and mutter, "I can't stop thinking about you, it's disgusting." Then you turned to him.

You made eye contact, and sang your line. That was it, you looked away and smiled brighter. What was that? Tomura couldn't comprehend such a nonsensical thing. Why did it make his heart beat faster? 

What were you doing to him? He didn't know, and he certainly didn't know how to make it stop. All this heart stuttering, breath holding, hand clenching was making him dizzy.

"I'm gonna turn in for the night." 

It was then that you cast a worried glance at him and he nearly melted. "I'll be fine, don't worry." He assured, stumbling into his room. Why he felt the need to say that last part he didn't know. He didn't know anything lately. 

As he fumbled his way through his door, he could hear the faint pop music from the speakers as your song continued. He couldn't help the sour look at hearing it. 

Tomura face planted onto his bed and groaned at himself. His reactions to you were concerning at the least. What was he supposed to do about it, you were distracting? Why did he have to figure it out all on his own. It was your fault. 

But that wasn't true was it? Much to his displeasure, you couldn't control how he felt about you, whatever that meant. You couldn't control the way his mind reeled at the sigh of you, or how he'd yelp when you hug him. That wasn't up to you. It never was. Just when his mind started to calm, there was a knock on his door. 

"Hello?" It was you, "Shigaraki?"

"What do you want?" 

"Are you okay?" She asked, "May I come in?"

"Whatever." He replied.

He could hear the click of the door when you opened it, and he could feel the dip of his bed when you sat on it. You rubbed his back and asked him what was going on. 

"It's nothing, don't worry about it."

"It's not nothing if it's affecting you," you look down at him, concern spread on your face, "hurting you." you finished.

"I'm just stuck in my head is all. Go have fun with your Karaoke. I'll be fine."

"Okay," You said, standing up, "sleep well."
