long story short, after years of feeling like i couldn't draw, i've finally got the itch to create again, and i'd love to art trade with the wonderful people of selfship tumblr!!! i am not in a position to be able to commission people for art of my ships right now, so i figured this is the next best thing :3

i will prioritise mutuals over non-mutuals, however these are open to anyone in the selfship community!

turnaround time will be a few days maximum, but you will likely get it sooner than that as i have nothing else to do qwq

will do: humans, animals, furries, robots/animatronics, lightly suggestive pieces. tbh, i can be convinced to do most things!

will not do: anything hateful/harmful, complex robots/mechs, full-on ns.fw. if there is something in your request that i don't feel comfortable/skilled enough to do, i will let you know.

i do heavily reference/trace parts of photos for accuracy. if this bothers you, please do not ask for a trade.

this is not limited to romantic selfships either - i will happily draw platonic or familial selfships too!

🍄‍🟫Okay, so for howdys quirks theres a few..

1, He hums a lot while he words in the shop. Hes fully aware of it, but I still really like it because sometimes when he thinks hes alone he kinda sways or dances to it. It's a very basic thing, but it's so him.

2, Hes not very good at hiding when he's judging people. If your rude him or other customers, you WILL get a side eye and an eyebrow raise!! He does not tolerate such foolishness! Like if your just having a bad day or being blunt, thats one thing, but if your genuinely moving through the world hating on everyone then like.. He gets it, but, he just doesn't enjoy stingy tipes.

3, if not obvious by that last one, he does in fact people watch. It's endearing but also.. Babe get out of their business what are you doing? He claims it's a way to kinda get sales so he can sell them something, and I can TELL he really means well, but it's like... Theres a limit!!

And lastely 4, hes very traditional, but. Not? Like ik this doesn't seem like a quirk, but he'll have these really strong moments of 'THIS IS A MAN'S JOB! ' and just extremely raised bravado, and it's so sad and funny seeing him come down from it because he felt all 'man of the House' and was afraid he looked like an idiot 😭 he tries so hard..

5, snores so loud oh my god

Hmm... Id say howdy is a very domestic character in general, but if I had to try and think of one moment that ment a lot, probably when my s/I went through his checkout for the first time.

☕ I don't know if I have a favorite physical feature about Herbert. I know he's definitely deemed as very attractive by the fandom, and I have to agree, but personally I just really like his brows and eyes. They can switch up so quick from stoic and serious to wide and unhinged that its like he stared at God himself. It can be unnerving, but I'm just glad it's those eyes that like to look into mine :) also, his hands are nice. I hardly see them because he's always wearing gloves, but I love to look at them and feel them on mine, it's almost intimate. <3

I asked the original artist first if I could draw his version of Springtrap for selfship art— and I got a yes! Yayy!!

So, I figured, it was about time I drew him!!
