I have way more than just 3 favourite Kurt outfits, but these were the ones I thought of right away and actually had saved on my phone. I just love his skirt outfits, especially that one, and the one from The Substitute is so so cute (Actually, I'm p sure the one with the scarf is also from that episode, prev!!). The last one just has so many subtle details/accessories and all the colours go so well together :) Also, that bag is probably one of my Kurt accessories in general

Glad you came by daftydraw and JWMelmoth; it's a slow burn au of season 5. My personal favorite part of it is just how much Kurt succeeds in it. It's all earned and it takes a while but it makes it so fucking satisfying when he wins!! That being said it's not very Blaine friendly, which could make it a hard miss for some people (fair)

Bite me Hummel by @a-l-vellum ; it's also a slowburn with a touch of both enemies to lovers and fwb to lovers and oh my fucking god it is so good!!!! Chapter 14 permanently ruined me btw (positive)

When the shadows fade by breha; this fic. This goddamn fic. It's reeeeally angsty and very much earns it's Hurt/Comfort tag, but it's so fucking good. It involves the klaine divorce but it's still generally positive towards Blaine, and it's about Klaine's daughter's fighting cancer with Sebastian as her new doctor. It can be hard to get through (for me the parts about Kurt's struggle with being the default parent and losing his identity were the most emotional) but believe me it's worth it. (Edit; I was informed that this one was written by op and I'm slightly embarrassed by implying op should read their own fic, but I still agree with what I wrote so I'm keeping this here)

kurt hummel and sebastian smythe’s guide to learning the rules by breaking them by kurtbasnation; this fic is just such a good time!!! If you're into horror tropes, struggles to communicate, a reasonable amount of angst, a large amount of humor and "us against the world" then you will love this fic

Cruel intentions by @makingmeblue ; this might be one of my favorite fics ever?? Or at least in the fandom. It's got fake dating, emotionally charged sex scenes, bad communication and it's just so fun!! Sebastian's family in this are so entertaining and enjoyable it's kinda similar (in vibes) to A Change in th Weather (which I assume you've read. If you haven't you really should). Also I like how similar the story is to glee as a show!! Like this feels like it could have been one of the plotline in an alternate, kurtbastian centered version of glee.

your heart in a plastic box (it's actually romantic) by @sunflower-hearts ; this oneshot does the impossible and asks "what if Kurt was the one that was waaaay more obsessed in the relationship?" and I think that's so brave. Also it's so funny and fluffy and Sebastian is such a little shit it's perfect and it references Kurt's notebook from season two, which actually had multiple drawing depicting Sebastian's elaborate and humiliating deaths.

It’s Hard To Be The One Who Stays by romantic_drift -soulmate au but kurt and sebastian aren’t soulmates 💔 lots of angst with a happy ending, i love soulmate aus where it's about choice + deciding for yourself and this fic does it well. i really love its depiction of kurt particularly, his conviction and development + his "i'll fight the world and even my own soulmark for this" energy too jsndsjd. not the focus but it’s also a dalton au

Don’t You Remember by discordandrhythm -i think i have an incoherent rambling post or two abt this one in my drafts lmao kurt wakes up with amnesia and finds out he’s married to sebastian in the present, and they try to navigate their marriage while kurt is slowly regaining his memories piece by piece. gorgeous fic i have no words to describe rn but this is how i feel thinking abt it (it’s unfinished)
