This was suppose to be a riders mount, but I never got around to making its saddle. I'm generally happy with it, stout shape, robust muscles, cute appearance the perfect riding partner into battle. Shame I will probably never get a round to the saddle.
Is this drawing style any good?? like its pretty basic but I cant help but like the line work: however at the same time I feel like I could push it further... what do you think let me know I'm always open to critique.
A fun little drawing I did on-top of an old building idea for Minecraft. I make notes in sketchbooks all the time instead of leaving them ugly and undone I just make art on-top of them.
The combo of a Golden Setter, Longfin Mako Shark and a Texas Coral Snake. I'll be honest I just take what interests me in a animal and combine them into one creature, something that makes the most sense. with this one however I felt like adding quills to it. I find it adds a level of believability to it, while holding onto the shapes of a sharks tail fins while not being exclusively fins.
I really love the organic shapes you get out of candles on bottles or candle holders; so I really wanted to create a creature made from candle wax. using some sticks and some wood glue I made the base and just stuck some candles on there to see what would happen! I think it turned out very nicely. I didn't have this for more then 20 minutes before I knocked it over and breaking the base XD. man I'm clumsy Music From Pixabay by leberch-cosy-quirky-248029

Here are some old sketches from my sketch book. I have been so busy since Friday DX . I'm so tired I almost forgot to post today. busy week this week so we will see what will happen.
This is another one of my favorite still life's, yes this hot mess is a still life. let me explain. this is a close up of the easel of which I painted this painting on. I painted on a small wooden board with oil paint mimicking each and every brush stroke. the idea of this piece was from another artist who paints small sections up close that she found interesting (I'm sorry I do not remember who), in a limited amount of time. I found my easel to be that interesting/challenging thing. The thing I enjoyed the most about this one was the focus on mimicking others paint colors and capturing the incidental motion of previous art projects. while paining this I my self had to add in my own messy mistakes to the piece. the only critique I got from it was the white bar at the very top, I left that as the original canvas due to wanting to focus on the one to one of the image before it even began rather then looping the image it self. That can be a different art piece.
if you have ever seen that dog with short spine syndrome, that. that is what this creature is based on. I love imagining this creature being an ambush pack hunter. They lay about in tall grass and then spring into action. This is an early krita piece, that I messed around with. I think its on 2 layers, I'm not sure why but I don't use many layers while "painting" on digital.
I'm really enjoying the Tuimiz animal generator and opting the bas being human to create furrys. none have gone well, and I love it. I should had sketched and idea out rather then picking a pose before starting because the elbows were so weird with the fore shorting I should have done something different. So Disappointed that I got yak for colours, its such a gross creature.

I think my lest favorite criticism from university for my art was; "Use more oil paint" "Add more paint to the canvas" "Don't be precious with your paint". As if I'm not a broke art student who has to pay for there own bills and feed them self. I was imitating a different artist with this one, and she used A LOT of paint with her pieces. I just imitated with less, teacher was not impressed. I told them I found no joy in eating only cup noodles for weeks on end for credit. Another reason I wouldn't want to dump a ton of paint on this canvas was it was made on a bed sheet. I also did not want to wait 3 years for it to fully dry.
OH BOY! Last week sucked. like a lot. nothing bad happened just work got to be to much and I had to just shut down and get it over with. I have freedom this week and I hope to get painting done and maybe more videos? I am trying my best. One of my favorite paintings I have here. Just some mischievous little guys playing with an unexpecting victim to pranks. The inspiration of these little guys was from a shadow, from a lamp that produced a creepy grinning face and boom they were born. I do hope to paint them more in the future; Because I think they are a lot of fun to imagine.
this is my favorite oil painting I walked away with from university. I miss oil paints so freaking much and with cats and a small apartment and no realistic way of dealing with oil rags.... I can not go one with oil painting for the time being. it makes me so sad, I have a bucket of oil paints and no way of using them. I know why people hate acrylic (even though I use them all the time) over oil. I think this was a short time painting where we had to throw a bunch of paint on then a little time to refine it.
I got more on the way I just suck at making the videos for them. feel free to check it out on tumblr or instagram. this is a very silly concept for making furries but you know that random animal generator by Tuimiz that but every base is human.
this is one long boi. The colours really came in clutch for this footless creature. gosh I just want to draw him running towards you making a cute sound. its has the flattest head and the roundest eyes. I would imagine its attitude to be much like the dodo, just eating fruits off the ground, getting super drunk on rotten fruits.
