Thoughts on Chapter Seven:
It's a mellow chapter. There are some high moments, but this chapter really is just laying out the groundwork for future moments, which I am not necessarily upset about, but I could see how people may view this as comparatively boring in comparison to Chapters 1 - 6, which are constantly moving. Overall, I am quite happy, and I have learned a lot of things and so many quality of life fixes. Love Warden and Dragon and its nice to officially have two new love interests. I hope y'all enjoy the chapter!

The person who laughs at her ambitions, or softens them in retelling, or acts like her intensity is a personality flaw to be managed. She doesn't need someone who matches her at every turn, but she needs someone who doesn't treat her drive like a problem. She'd also have a hard time forgiving emotional passivity—if you're not in it, actually in it, she will notice long before you say anything, and she will not wait.
For Anwar, someone performative. Specifically, someone who performs at them. They have very good radar for it and they find it genuinely exhausting, not in a moralistic way but in a "I can't connect to someone I can't find" way. They'd also struggle significantly with someone who makes everything a competition or treats conflict as a scoreboard. Anwar needs to feel like you're both trying to understand, not trying to win.
For Charlie, someone who pushes. Charlie moves at their own pace in everything, and a partner who treats that as a challenge to overcome will get exactly what they'd expect: Charlie becoming more closed, not less. They're also autistic, and they will not stay somewhere that requires them to perform neurotypicality to be found acceptable. If you need them to be easier, you're not compatible, and they know it.
