I've recently been missing the smells, sights and feelings of memories long gone, dwelling in retrospect on the person I was and the experiences my sensory receptors gobbled up greedily, like a child deprived. Yet, as time has trampled on, I have changed and learned, understanding and appreciating the growth that has taken place which brought me to this very present moment - overcoming all the pushes and pulls of life I have so far endured, the challenges that I have faced, and the forceful nature of time to transform and transcend, emerging each and every day as a new me, a better me. Thankful for #waterfallwednesday I'm so glad I took the trip to see these falls in the winter. It was worth the extra 2 mile hike since my car couldn't make it down the road to the trailhead and the frozen appendages at the end of it all. Thanks to the kind, lovely couple who gave my friend and I a ride back to my car so we didn't have to walk the same two miles back after finishing the trail as the snow began to really descend!
