( i roleplay sai and suigetsu (separately) as muses here on tumblr so the idea of them as a ship was very interesting to me because i love them as characters so much. so your blog popped up in their character tags and i loooove your blog and your art is so gorgeous, especially your latest post just now. i love following your blog from my personal blog )

So he goes back home and lays in his lonley bed probably listening to creep. He goes to work and hes bored asf. He comes home, Inos there, Ino kisses him and he smiles but neither of them really mean it. He tries to make some art but finds himself completely stumped. A few more days go by. His boring daily life never bothered him much before this, he enjoyed being needed by the village and having a purpose. The calm state was a nice change of pace after having a long life full of fighting. But now it was driving him crazy, so in the dead of night he sneaks out, Ino laying next to him this time. Sai doesnt even know if the invitation is open anymore but he thinks its worth a shot. He comes back and suigetsu is pleasently suprised to see him again. He hangs out with team taka, and despite the fact hes never been a group hangout person, he has a lot of fun. Its a nice change of pace for both team taka and sai. They realize their lives have become routine and theyre both bored as fuck and bond over this. Eventually they start to become better friends and learn more about each other and about all the stuff theyve experienced. It kinda forces each of them to rethink how their lives are going and how the village is set up. Basically sai gets radicalized. And after hearing about danzo and orochimarus friendship, and the stuff all of them experienced with the two that theyd been forcing themselves not to think about, they all get really uneasy. Life continues on normally for a while, team taka completing their tasks around the lab and sai checking into his mediocre job. At night they sneak around and meet up with eachother. Eventually after a long time of this, suigetsu proposes to team taka and sai a plan to run away from the leaf village. A boundry is crossed and sai gets scared. Hes scared of not having authority over him and having a purpose. Juugo and Karin are the same. Time passes again and everyones bored. Sai wakes up one night to suigetsu at his window, inos gone again, and hes like "hey ive been bored out of my mind without seeing you. karin and juugo have come around to the idea and we've decided we're gonna travel the world and go do something. maybe ill go find those swords itd be a fun blast from the past yk. we're going to leave now so if you want to come the offers still open." sai is scared and he decides to not go. so suigetsu leaves. but it only takes a few minutes of thinking for sai to immediantely regret this so he chases back after team taka. its very dramatic. and so they leave together and go discover some jutsu and do some stupid shit and sai makes awesome drawings. and everyones happy.
