I also made a little pictorial of how the world (I'm currently calling it Laureland as in laurel + land) looks in this AU:

I've labelled the powers that be that rule over the realms of Laureland, following MLP's very matriarchal-focused themes (and aversion to the word queen lol) There are other Princesses, but they answer to these powers that be depending on their birthrealm.

I've also spent a loooooot of time figuring out the genealogy to include as many gods as possible while stripping away all the sexual taboo (and sexuality in general. No hate towards how other people interact with MLP but my colorful horses only engage in strictly romantic interactions and no further.) Zeus made that infinitely more complicated but I believe I managed!

While I aim to include as many myths as possible, they're often going to be toned down, sanitized and reimagined through a more progressive lens (MLP is very female-centred which Greek Mythology famously is not so I'm leading with the pony show's general politics)

I have more information on Princess Aphrodite's genealogy and personal relationships with other Princesses and ponies of the pantheon on her toyhou.se profile (though you need to have a toyhou.se to be able to access it)

Drew some ponies

The first one happens to be my most popular OC back when Ponysquare was a thing, redrawn into my headcanon variant of cutesauruses, which I call Sickle Claws because they’re megaraptorid inspired.

Who is this?

Marli D’vequa, fourth cousins with Treyx, but they’ve never met each other or heard of each other.

Marli is quite a brilliant scientist, specialising in cloning, animal behaviour, and conservation. She is employed all over the galaxy to restore extinct animals into a stable population. And her own passion project is in the study of animal behaviours all over the galaxy.

She often documents these expeditions with a cameradrone she dubbed SIBER. And the only weapon she carries is a tranq gun called a Whistler. One dart will take down a human for forty minutes. A whole clip’s worth (six darts) is needed to knock a Krogan out, only for ten minutes.

She does not like farmers and agricultural workers as they are usually a direct obstacle in restabilising animal populations and she often loses her temper if she needs to speak with them.

Currently she has not seen another person in almost a hundred years, having been contracted for an insane amount of work that she has been doing by herself rather than with a team. She tends to be awkward and not very well socialised. And has no idea how to act when she has a crush on someone, which can be anyone as a pansexual gal. She currently has never had a partner before or even kissed, and assumes she will not as she is self conscious of her thighs.

Above all she truly loves animals and is endlessly fascinated and enthralled by learning about them and watching them live their lives. Learning their animal languages.
