Mr Ambrose: I said you're TERRIBLE and should GO AWAY

Lillian, or Lilly for short is a strong, independent woman who fights for the rights of woman who were not allowed to work or vote. This book is set in the 19th-century London. Lilly disguises herself as a man to vote but then she meets Mr Ambrose, and though he doesn't know she's female he hires her to be his Secretary because she's very intelligent. But then when he finds out her true gender, things get very complicated. He tries so hard to make her quit on her own because he believed woman were weak and emotional which he did not tolerate. But seeing how stubborn, strong and brave Lilly is, he keeps her as his secretary but as the man he first met, not the woman she was. She of course was angry that he would only let her work if she disguised herself as a man, and for one...Lilly was against chauvinism and was a woman that wanted nothing more but to be free. But she ended up taking the role, and wanted to prove him, and every men that woman were just as capable of men when it came to hard work. Awe this book is such a good, amazing and wonderful story. It also has a lot of hilarious parts that made my stomach sore from laughing too much, and some parts where it made me very teary and most importantly the love that blossoms between the two characters. I'm currently on the fifth book :)
