I forgot to post this, but a couple nights ago, I dreamt that CaseOh was playing a video game about Byler. The style of it was similar to Little Nightmares and Fran Bow. It took place in the Upside Down. Mike and Will got separated and they are trying to find each other. It switches POV's after something tragic happens (like one of them falls into a deep ditch, and it seems like all hope is lost). At some point, Mike needed to escape from his own head, traveling through memories and having to face a part of himself he tried to lock away. It was actually very beautiful.

I came across this reblog and rewatched that scene. They didn't include this two-shot scene in the actual show where she holds his face.

Will starts rejection therapy but he has severe social anxiety so instead of going up to random strangers, he always asks his family and friends for things they cannot provide him. It’s usually something stupid, like a loan of a million dollars.
But then his therapist tells him that, for the treatment to work properly, he needs to ask for something that he actually wants. So he asks Mike for a kiss knowing that the answer will be no.
And Mike knows that Will is only asking as a joke, because he’s been making stupid requests and laughing them off for months now. He says yes anyway.
