gameplay wise it feels like its doing the thing the last few melee jobs have had where its seemingly a transforming job but there isnt a proper ''stance switching job'' because transformations are usually reserved for burst buttons like reawaken and enshroud or that one scholar button so im really hoping bastion really plays around with form switching especially with the direction evolved mode seems to be taking, if its another ''hit this button to go into your big damage'' job i will probably like it a lot less identity wise since theres already jobs that do that perfectly well....

i do worry that based on how the job is described as having tools to heal and defend for allies and the gameplay trailer showing it having ranged attacks that it might just be ''paladin..... 2'' and not a unique main tank (this getting weird when you realize both main tanks are technically supportive in nature and there being no selfish main tank, which seems weird since main tank was described to imply being selfish and off tank being described as more supportive)

that being said based on the footage shown im interpreting some neat stuff like a counter stance and even the job having an attack with a cast time (something something more cast times than current summoner).
