This so called prototype wallet, is actually one of many reason for me to make one for myself. Driven by my new jeans that I'm going to break, I need a curvy vertical wallet to shape the back-pocket-fading of my jeans.

Graceful long wallet made from vegetable tanned leather. Cognac hand-dyed for the outside and natural for the inside to get beautiful patina character. Just look at it! It's so beautiful, isn't it? These wallet so simple yet functional with 8 card slots, 2 money pocket, a zipped and a hidden pocket.
WHAT IS PATINA?
AGING IN BEAUTY Patina is a soft sheen that develops through use and exposure on the surface of the material which provides a character and a personality to the product. Patina is a hallmark of the highest-quality leather. It is merely a manifestation of the natural aging process. It tells a story. As leather tanned naturally, it ages beautifully over time with wear and use.
WHAT LEATHER? Natural vegetable-tanned full grain leather develops the best patina over time, because it absorbs sunlight and heat or natural oils that your body produces. Full grain leather is the highest grade of leather. It is considered the most durable and robust as it is made from the strongest part of the animal skin. In addition to this durability, it is often recognised for its attractive quality due to the close grain pattern. And it retains the natural markings of the cow.
SPEED UP PATINA PROCESS Exposure to the elements is the purest way for patina to thrive. Different elements, though, provide different finishes. For instance, sunlight and heat will bring out our leatherâs golden tones whereas rain and sea water will leave splash marks and natural oils from your hands will cause darker patches to form. The best way then to speed up the patina process is to simply use your bag. Use it all the time, every time you leave the house without being delicate. The more the leather is exposed to the outdoors, the better.

AYAKA (CUSTOM IN HAVANA)
Made this compact tote bag with a rugged looks (and feels) couple days ago. First time, yet so satisfying. Supposed to be worn by woman. Ah, maybe next time I do photoshoot with one. The veg-tanned in havana looks shiny with a little hand-glazed effort. No rivet, I stitch down everything in place with polyester thread and a help from adhesive. Don't worry, it is strong enough to load your compact luggage.
