That’s a terrible thing to say, I’m sorry it clouded your birthday.  Hopefully you still found a way to enjoy your day.

That’s quite the declaration isn’t it?

Well, it’s officially true so we might as well just accept it. 

Just don’t be so realistic that it turns to pessimism. I was. I was at one in New Mexico. It was attached to the local university. I accomplished nothing but taking lots of random classes and hiding in my room until I had to come out for mandatory events. They eventually kicked me out because I wasn’t excelling toward a claim.

Do you think they’d kick people out here?

Oh I see, well that definitely sucks too; Im sure the timing didn’t help in the least.  That happened to me recently too.  I’m sorry you had to deal with that, and hope it gets better to deal with sooner than later.

Yeah, well, you’re going to find someone and maybe you won’t just click, but there’ll be someone for you. You have to be optimistic or you fade away like I did at my prior facility.

That would be nice. But I think I’ll have to settle for being realistic over optimistic.

Maybe there were personal reasons of his that left no choice.  People do funny things in those cases that while feel like the reason is us, really wasn’t.

Oh no, I know that there were other reasons. It’s not about me- I don’t pretend to think I could have that much affect on him. I just meant that the timing was very typical of my bad luck if that makes sense.

Oh no, I know he had other reasons. And I know it wasn’t because of me. I’m just saying it’s so something that happens to me with my luck. 

What happened?

Kavi and I were on somewhat good terms and I’d thought we might even be friends or something. I gave him this letter about all of that and how I felt about it along with his Christmas gift, and then he left and I didn’t hear back.
