I used to and then I started using this stair step method for blending into the rest of the hair.

I will usually just slide one fingers depth past my guide to create the added length and then blend at the end. 👍

Although if the hair is fine it will often look great without blending! 😉

at her last appointment, we did a pink face frame with her copper. i love being able to take client across the color wheel without removing color ✨ thankful for my clients who send my selfies when I don’t have the time to document their hair at the end of appt 🫶🏻 and if you made it this far, I KNOW I JUST POSTED A SIMILAR COLOR, this one is adjusted for this specific client & i thought it would be helpful to showcase this misunderstood color on a human canvas this time.

This pretty in pink peach wig started off as a scary canary yellow (never scary, actually love yellow but I liked the rhyme), so with some warm water, yellow, pink, and a couple of basins I toned her a beautiful colour with minimal colour use and no wastage. As you can see the pigments were literally sucked out of the water! P.S Play to the end if you need a wee…
