My little potted herb garden is almost done. We've got four kinds of Basil, including Lemon blBasil, two kinds of Oregano, a Dwarf Curry plant, Thyme, Rosemary, Spanish Lavender Golden Sage and French Tarragon (yes, parsley is missing as are chives). Some of these I know very well, and a few are new to me.

I just absolutely refuse to get rid of any more neckties, I must admit they no longer are worth the hanging space they take up. So today I bought some brightroom lidded totes from @target.

I hope some day to bring back ties and pocket squares to my wardrobe.

So, with the Smoked Oyster & Grilled Scallion oïoli I made today ( with oilve oil from @getgraza and smoked oysters by @chickenoftheseaofficial that I got at @dollartree). I made pan seared salmon from @adelphiaseafood with oven-roasted vegetables.

When I was plating, I put a swipe of the aïoli on the plate. At the start of the swipe I set a simple relish of kalatama olives and little gem tomatoes. I layed the grilled vegetables (carrots, shallots, red and yellow peppers, and mushrooms), next to that I put the pan seared salmon with more aïoli on it.

Sooo good!

Cooking is my get away!

I made oven roasted broccoli with, oven roasted salmon, from @adelphiaseafood. I coated the salmon with @getgraza olive oil and Orange You Taste sea salt for @saltoptics.

My arugula and @sunsetgrown sprinkles teeny tiny tomatoes from @giant and capers. I dressed it with more @getgraza olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper and locatelli cheese from @russo_foodnmarket

So, it was shrimp with pasta in red sauce, from the refrigerator and pantry.

I started with shrimp from @giant I peeled the and seasoned them with some of my homemade lemon, parsley and basil salt.

While the Mafaldine pasta from @pasta_granoro that I got at @russo_foodnmarket (thank you @vitorussodesign for helping mom and I out) cooked, I made a quick stock out of pan-roasted shrimp shells, extra dry vermouth from @martini and vegetable stock from, also @giant.

In the same pan I cooked the shrimp with @getgraza olive oil and butter, the roasted the shrimp shells, I added anchovie filets with their oil from @lidlus. In the same pan I sweated white onions and garlic. Next, I threw in julineed red peppers and halved cherry tomatoes and Calabrian (agsin from @vitorussodesign) and Kalatama olives. Next a small can of @huntstomatoes tomato sauce with more vermouth and more vegetable stock. Once that was cooked down I added pasta water and the pasta.

I plated this and topped it with lemon zest and fresh cracked black pepper.

Hopefully, next to mom asked for this I can duplicate it!

Just got my #tinnedfish package and I'm beyond thrilled! Such a huge fan of tinned fish and this company is amazing!

I'm so excited... since discovering that I need to be more careful of what I eat because of my gout and the fact that most of the tin fish that I love cause gout, my November subscription to fish has two tinned fish that I can enjoy.

Both calamar and mackerel are okay for me to eat, and cod is low in what cause gout flare up! Winning!!

Latest obsession... Pan fried ramen noodles with sautéed mushroom and green onions in my garlic confit oil, topped with #momofuku chili crisps.
