     "Sorry, you just seemed      really familiar. Ah, sorry,      introductions. I'm Petra     Quill."

     She had a point, and,      because she did, Petra      sighed. "Fine. Just, do      not blow it up in here."

If you don’t find little, dancing Groot adorable, you have no soul. 

"—what? You ain’t usin’ this part of the ship right this second. I am.”

     "I'm pretty sure I need      all of the pieces of my      ship."

"…I think you pissed it off."

     "Yeah, I got that impression, dumbass."

"I’m sorry what did you say?”

     "Uhm, that I'm Petra Quill?"

Ward flashed a bright smile before leaning in a bit closer. “I hate to ask, but you wouldn’t happen to know anything about that mess in DC, would you?” He carefully tested the waters.

     "DC? Oh, you mean Washington?"      She laughs and rubs the back of      her neck. "Yeah I just got... here."      An awkward chuckle escapes her      lips. "And by here I mean earth, I      guess."

Ward took no time at all to access this woman. Hot. A bit odd, maybe. Definitely didn’t act like she knew who he was. “As a matter of fact,” he says, flashing her a smile. “You could be exactly what I need.”

     "Oh, really? And how could      I help you, then?" She smirked,      it had been a while since she      had someone flirt back.
