60. WTF

The weather here is absolutely perfect. I brought Athena out to the patio. The turkey that lives on our property is becoming much more comfortable with me. Here he is greeting me at my garage.

Last night we saw the Foo Fighters and the Pretenders. They both have so much energy and Chrissie Hynde’s voice is as good as ever. We weren’t too close so you get some average pictures.

We are in Minneapolis to see the Foo Fighters and Pretenders tonight. Yesterday I went on a walk around town and saw the venue where Prince became a star, Mary Tyler Moore statue, the ballpark where the Twins play (and where the concert will be) and a huge Bob Dylan mural. The funny part is I did not seek any of these out, I just came across them as I walked.

Our neighborhood turkey decided he wanted a ride on the Jeep.

Currently sitting on the patio listening to the new Nathaniel Rateliffe album for the first time. I’m loving it. I love you. Peace!

I was texting with a friend tonight (Hi). And I typed Carpe Diem about going out with a friend and having fun and it auto corrected to “Carrie Died.” So, anyway, seize the day and pour one out for Carrie.

Another beautiful day for our Pride Parade. it has grown so much. they added a stage for drag shows. Lots of food trucks and vendors. I had a great time!

Pride parade day!

Did a Pride Pub crawl tonight. They had this specialty drink for Pride night at one of the bars. It was really good. Another brewery had a beer just for June with a dollar from every one going to our local Pridefest. Tomorrow is the parade!

My son’s bird is hiding on my shirt.

I forgot to take pictures at the BBQ, so I took one just now of our son’s bird, Athena. She is now on the patio with us enjoying this perfect weather.

First one of the year. Call this a practice round. I measure everything out except the grenadine, that I add until the color is right. You have to be careful with that because it can take it over. I top this off with pineapple (or coconut) seltzer to tame some of the sweetness.
