I hate how Ken's Japanese heritage is always erased in the live actions. They always make him white when he's actually supposed to be wasian (3/4 Japanese, even, according to the original lore). I don't know if they ignore it using the fact that he has an "Anglo-Saxon" last name or some bullshit like that but still. I'm pissed we never actually got to see wasian Ken.

Oh, and also crazy how they didn't take the chance to make Bison Thai (and yes, I know he doesn't really have a confirmed nationality or ethnicity, but many people assume/hc he's Thai because his stage is in Thailand and honestly... Why not. It would be pretty interesting). To be fair, Bison's actor is just... Peculiar (not to mention I just noticed he's also played Kurt in Ant-Man lmao). I'm sure most people wouldn't imagine Bison looking like him like irl, but who knows, they might surprise us, I just hope they make him as cruel as he's supposed to be, (not to mention he's got great expectations held on him after Raul Julia's fantastic performance in the original live action).

That said, I'm very glad they cast some new faces in this movie along with famous celebrities, I'm happy and hopeful about this film being someone's big breakout.

Still trying to process Roman Reigns as Akuma, tho.

Acting like he is a 'miserable' character is ridiculous when there are pretty obvious reasons as to why he doesn't open up much and only does so when the player gets closer to him. He has passions!! Hobbies!! And he never gets the chance to talk about any of it!! Because he's such an important symbol to his country, and people WORSHIP him by the time SF6 takes place. He's not just some yoga master anymore lmao he's got his own temple and everything. Also please, for the love of god, why are you expecting a monk to be unserious and whimsical all the time? A monk who has witnessed people starve and suffer and die from horrible illnesses- if you'd rather have him act like some goofy old man all the time his character just wasn't made for you. Simple as that.
