Neil Young, Flying on the Ground Is Wrong

Hello, Blog. So, this is LincVolt, Neil Young’s very special car. (I’ve been in love with it for a long time, as he is, too.) There’s a documentary mini-series coming up about its conversion to an electric hybrid (it’s a 1959 Lincoln Continental, imagine that!), and I now know I am not going to be able to get through it without a box of Kleenex. This car is somehow attached to my heart. I just watched this first clip from the documentary series and could not keep from crying. Don’t ask me why. Watch!

Not sure I completely agree with this sentiment, but it is food for thought. I guess I’m more pragmatic, or in religious terms, agnostic about the Why me question. Why indeed? There may be an answer, and it may keep history from repeating itself, but it won’t change the facts of the here and now.
