DON'T CALL ME JAKOB!!!

I have other accounts where I don’t owe so far as I know so I won’t link them here, but they’re under the semi-hiatus too.

The praise to her drawing caused her to silently glow with pride, compliments were something to be treasured as they were hardly given to her. She looked up flicking her eyes around once again, ever wary, it was not worth her salt to be caught out here with another guy. She internally cringed at the thought, she was starved for normal human interaction, and simply couldn’t help but talk to Dimitri. 

“If I’m making you uncomfortable, I can go.” He said, glancing back to the gate where people were still walking by. Normal foot traffic for this time of day.

The sketch of the guitar caught her eye and she tilted her head studying it “that’s interesting, I’ve never gotten the chance to try sketching a musical instrument they’ve always looked hard to draw though” the question from earlier continued to burn in her mind until she blurted “sorry! But um before you said you write, what kind of things do you write?” Interest was clearly written all over her gentle features, her eyes continued their wary surveying of the street before flicking back to the males face.

"That's part of why I came here. I kept getting distracted by either drawing or playing that." He said, motioning to the sketch of the guitar. "Almost anything. Sometimes it's like a journal of how i'm feeling, other times it's stuff that i'm looking at." He didn't mind talking about his writing, most of it anyway. His day to day stuff was safe territory but he was a bit more guarded about his stuff where he talked about his feelings in more depth.

Looking up when Dimitri returned she gave a brisk nod “If you think I wont stand out dressed like this….” she was still dressed in the clothes that she had worn on her ship. Her precious ship, her arms unfolded and she lifted a hand to reach underneath her top a little to grasp a silver pendant on a necklace for a moment. Taking a short breath she released it and focused on him again “Lead the way”

"Uh, this is the best way to get around. It's the closest thing anymore to carriages." He explained as he unlocked the door manually instead of using the keychain. "Believe me it's faster than walking." He added, holding the door open.

This counts for canon, original, and those who are from another fandom and have a DH verse. 

He made a 'one minute' motion and went and found his boss. "Hey, uh something's come up, can I take off?" He asked. Once he got an affirmative answer he headed back to the other room. "Let's head out and we can talk about this more." He suggested.

Need more open-minded people to follow/play with. 

 Returning her gaze to him she chewed on her lip nervously “Thank you again for the map, it helped me out alot” reasoning to herself that anything that could happen to her had already happened she slowly opened the sketch pad again, flipping past the improved map to the drawing’ she’d started today. She hadn’t noticed him when she’d walked here, and she couldn’t help but wonder what he was doing in a place like this, her teeth bit at her bottom lip again before she asked “Im sorry if im bothering you, but I was wondering what you were doing here? I I just mean that not many would want to come to a place like this” 

"You weren't bothering me. I was done and leaving when I noticed you sitting here." He explained. "I came here to write. I find it easier to write outside sometimes, especially today." He explained as he put his earphones in his pocket. "Not many people is sort of what makes it a good spot, don't know about you but sometimes I can use a lack of people." He added, flipping open his notebook past lousy sketches, and his attempts at lyrics and poems to two facing pages. One was what he'd just written the other was a half finished sketch of his guitar he'd started while trying to keep from playing the thing at home.

It was a few days before she was allowed out of the house again, and as usual she hurried to complete her tasks before she found a place to sit down and draw. With the sun streaming down and warming her back she carefully drew the street but instead of the traffic instead she made the art piece look as if it had been abandoned and plants were retaking the concrete and stone. 

He saw someone pass on the street outside the fence and it got included in the description of his surroundings as he wrote. 'The benches are cracked, grass is over long. Swings haven't swung in a while but surprisingly the fence stands just fine as if everyone wants it to be seen even if everything else is damaged. Someone sits in the too-tall grass within, watching through the upkept chainlink as others go by, ignoring cracked sidewalks and damaged asphalt.' He kept his head tucked low over his writing, left foot tapping slightly to the tempo of his music. He set his pen down and glanced around, noticing the person that had been walking past had taken a seat facing the street. His cheeks colored slightly, well at least they hadn't seen him see them then start writing and come over, he thought. He closed his notebook and replaced his other earbud as he got up. As he walked out he glanced at the person watching the street and noticed it was the girl who'd asked him for directions. She looked deep in focus, a mindset he knew. But before he could stop himself his big mouth opened, "Looks like you found the art store." He said, sitting back down where he wouldn't block her view of the street.

Pushing the door open the startlingly pretty young woman cut a sorry figure, make up not quite covering the large bruise around her eye and cheek and a harried tense look to her. Giving anyone else within the bar a wide berth she made her way towards someone who looked like he worked there “Im sorry” she began in her soft voice “But im new to this town and Im really quite badly lost” she wrung her hands anxiously “Could you point me toward a decent liquor store” she hesitated her eyes darting from left to right as if checking for someone before quickly adding “and an art shop too if its not too much trouble sir” 

He heard a soft voice coming from his right and looked over to find a girl with a slight bruise showing on her cheek. She looked spooked. "It's okay. It's easy to get lost here. If you'd like I can draw you a map to a liquor store, and an art store that's between here and there." He said, smiling and pulling a pen from his pocket and looking around for something to draw on. The first thing to hand was a napkin, so he started drawing. "You're here..." He said, drawing a square with an x through it, "You go back outside, turn left, go for two blocks, hang a right and you'll see an art store on the left-hand side of the road." He drew lines and wrote a 2 for the number of blocks to go, then drew a square and wrote the name of the art store. "Then at the end of that block, across the street is a liquor store." He said drawing another square and writing another name. He flipped the napkin over to where the bar's logo was printed and wrote his name. "That's my name if you need any more directions, I'm a bartender and bouncer here."

She downed the rest of the rum in a single motion pulling a slight face, focusing on the stranger again she fiddled with her outfit a little before speaking “Thank you, I owe you for this” 

"You're welcome. I'll consider you not holding weapons on me anymore as payment enough." He said, smiling a bit.
