May I present the "strangers to ambiguously unspoken friendship and perhaps leading to more?" slowburn of the ages. 3 things I immediately loved about this fic: #1 The relationship doesn't feel forced in the slightest; the trust is very slow and very fragile. #2 Jason is given proper depth; he's not a heartless villain nor a complete softy. #3 The reader is realistically afraid about their situation but still has a backbone; fear and determination are not as mutually exclusive as it's often written to be. Genuinely an impeccable piece of writing.

LISTEN, everybody and their grandma's goldfish knows I'm an absolute SUCKER for hurt/comfort, and these fics right here are 50% hurt, 50% comfort, and 100% FANTASTIC. We really get to see many different sides of Jason and how they all exist both with each other, and in spite of one another. Everything is written with such obvious intention and care.

Another banger from Syra. The scene itself looks so domestic and simple from an outside perspective, but the sheer amount of emotional complexity that goes completely unspoken yet is clear as day is all written so poetically.

Knife Under My Pillow by @flimsily-flimsy

This is a fic I keep coming back to, and for damn good reason. Violence and pain doesn't have to exclusively be sharp and loud, and Ava shows that so perfectly here. We only see the aftermath and the side effects but they're no less haunting, and its often the most intangible pains that feel the most real. There's enough stubbornly unspoken unadulterated love in this fic to write a Jane Austen novel.

This one made an immediate home in my heart <3 Short and sweet, but the friendship between Jason and reader is so so genuine and adorable. GOD did this one have me cheesen' from beginning to end.

UGH this one went straight for the jugular. I'm usually not a huge fan "getting back together with your ex" stories, but that's not really what this one is. I absolutely adore how lizzy wrote the dynamic between Jason and reader. They're both clearly still bearing the weight of a "what could've been," but they don't let any bitterness or reluctance stop them from their common goal. The feelings are gradual and uncertain, but we still see the exact chemistry that had them falling in love in the first place.

Hey ! …Hum…there could be a chronological order…Ok well, I’m gonna spend my next hour giving you said order eh. On my masterlist blog, the stories are basically in the order I posted them, but I believe I can make a chronological order and a sort of timeline. Here it goes : 

So there’s two kind of Batmom stories. The ones that are connected, the ones that have the same “main” Batmom, and stories unrelated with those, usually one shots.
