The clocks run back and so should you

So i didn't think i would do this but tumblr is such a specific place and experience I thought I would bring some of my creative stuff here and make an art blog! I realized on my other platforms it seemed like I leaned towards trying to be more professional and that also made me nervous to post, like I have to be way more careful and not as free somehow, esp when it comes to fandoms or less polished sketches. But with tumblr being THE space to really nerd out and talk about or post pretty much whatever I decided to make this the spot where I could feel more free to post what I likely wouldn't on my other platforms. Maybe bluesky, but jury's still out on that one for now.

Eres is based on the Eresidae family of spiders - velvet spiders! In his case his face and color scheme is based on the male Eresus sandaliatus, the ladybird spider. Do with that what you will~

I attempted and actually managed to get all the way through a full art challenge for once haha i've always been a breed nerd so there was no way I was about to miss out on doggust! It took me forever but it did teach me a lot about how I wanted to tackle future work and has helped me see I was finally getting over art school burnout. I WANTED to do this. Plus each start is the mutt prompt which I use to dedicate to my old doggy who already crossed the rainbow bridge.

You can tell i had to switch tactics a little so I would actually get thru the whole thing but hey live and learn! I'm already excited for the next round ^^
