ive been on tumblr for like two years and im beginning to understand it. like pink text has something to do with gnomes, purple text means you're horny in a certain way, red text has something to do with really long visual novels i think, blue text means you're in a house, green text means you're okay with where the current scene is and want to keep going and experience more of this, but i still dont know what yellow text means

yes "if he wanted to do open-heart surgery on me, i'd probably let him" is an indubitably insane thing to say unprompted about a guy you've known for a few days as well as hideously revealing in ways that you might not want to unpack right now but i think we should consider that rocky also has profound self-worth issues 46 years of isolation in the making and would think absolutely nothing of insisting (not offering) that he will donate one of his hearts to grace if he ever needs a transplant or just feels like he could use a backup and not even because he has four to spare. & he announces this with the tone of someone saying hey man how's it going over grace's morning coffee BTW.

it sucks that the overwhelming majority of medical messaging around salt/sodium is "evil poisonous substance that you're definitely already eating way too much of," because like. you do still need it. (trust me, as a POTS-haver, I've had to completely rewire my own brain about salt.) and you need more salt when the entire northern hemisphere is hot enough to fry an egg on. ever tried sucking down the recommended 64oz of hydration per day entirely as water, only to find you're peeing constantly without any of the purported benefits of being "hydrated"? assuming you don't have another medical condition that causes frequent urination, your body probably needed more salt/electrolytes to be able to hold onto that water and make use of it. if there was ever a time to keep a sports drink/pedialyte/etc within constant reach, it's when the heat index is 110°F/43°C.
