little things that are important to my canon portrayal of gordie ( taken from the body & stand by me ) more to be added !!:

- how gordie defends chris to his father even when he is desperately searching for his approval, even if that meant his father growing more distant because he didn’t have friends like denny. - denny and gordie actually had a good relationship ???? i know crazy right. however due to gordie always feeling like he has to ‘man up’ to refrain from being called a ‘p*ssy’ he acts like denny was an acquaintance. - because he sees denny as an acquaintance, according to everybody he bought the Yankee cap and denny never gave it to him. however the only person who knows the truth and sentimental value is chris :’) - how gordie defends and aids teddy no matter what the circumstances are, no matter how angry it got teddy because even though he said he was a lost cause, deep down he knew he wasn’t. - gordie and chris’s mom/dad friend dynamic - gordie getting jumped bye fuzzy and ace after school
