it is truly a shame that some people completely disregard the healthy and equal dynamic between Dongeun and Yeojeong, reducing it all to "lack of chemistry" or the age gap between the actors. Like, seriously?
Dongeun and Yeojeong's relationship is far from "bland." It is an ultra-comfortable, safe space for two deeply traumatized individuals. Yeojeong provided her with something she had never experienced before - a sanctuary where she wouldn't be beaten, betrayed, or judged for her darkness. Itโs disheartening that for some viewers, the flashy exterior (Doyeong) mattered more than the deep, healing, and wonderfully unhinged substance (Yeojeong).
