Wow, long time no art, huh? I’ve been working on a lot of stuff, much of which is for Montreal Comiccon which I’ll be exhibiting at July 7 to 9 (today!) with @ohgeezitssam-art!! We’ll have lots of cool stuff including prints, buttons, plus originals and commissions! Some quick Inuyasha sketches I threw together for twitter a little while ago :0 I started rewatching the series and it’s so much fun and brings back so many good memories :’) Inuyasha was my first ‘proper’ anime, where I knew what the genre was and all that. God it’s suhc a good show, and still stands up years later! I also want to re-read (and actually finish ^^; ) the manga too!
I’s like to draw a lot more fanart from this show ahhh it’s also what really got me into drawing, and is all I drew for like, 3 years solid in elementary school xD Now that I can sorta-maybe draw halfways decent I wanna draw all the Inuyasha fanart I didn’t have the skill fo!
Oh yea so I also got into Voltron over the summer xD It’s such a fun show!! Of course Allura and Shiro are my fav chars ;3;
I was at work and had the strong need to draw casual summer Allura *O* I’m constantly craving bubble tea, so that happened too haha this one was really fun and I’m pretty proud of it :’) Allura is so rad holy shit, I can’t wait to draw her again *3*
I’d been itching to do another portrait, so I did this small on of Nichelle Nichols as Uhura, back in July! Nichelle was one of the guests as Montreal Comiccon, and I wanted to bring something for her to sign ;3; Kind of an improvement meme from my 2013 portrait of her? Thinking about it now, I should have waited and got her to sign it at FanExpo, since it was a few days before Star Trek’s 50th anniversary, but I didn’t want to risk missing out if she cancelled ;~;
Anyways, this was a lot of fun to do! :D I did rush a little since I left it til the last minute but uhhh I still did the thing ^^;

Sorry I’ve been away from this blog recently, I just haven’t been drawing much at all the past couple months ._. But this was something I sketched in clip studio while I was playing around with the free trial before I bought it! I have absolutely no idea how to use the program, but it’s a lot of fun :0 and that brush stabilization mmmmm nice

Celebrating 5 Trekkades (hehe), this fanzine will pay tribute to one of the greatest series in sci-fi history! September marks the 50th anniversary of the Star Trek franchise, and what better way to commemorate the occasion than with incredible art?! The goal is to print the zine as a 6x9″ perfect bound book, with preorders launching on Sept 8th, in time for the 50th! Not only will this zine be an amazing collection of fantastic artwork, but all proceeds beyond the cost of printing and shipping will be donated to charity! Organization TBD.
Applications are now open for artists wishing to participate in this project! You don’t have to be a hardcore Trekkie; fans new and old alike are welcome to apply! All that matters is that you love Star Trek and want to celebrate it with art! You can fill out and submit the Google form HERE. We will be accepting applications for two weeks, starting today May 27th through Friday June 10th, 2016.

Apologies to those hoping to hear back right away about applications; I’d really like for this zine to be as big as it can be, and I think an extra week will help!
Even if you’re not interested in participating, please spread the word! Every share and reblog helps; tweet about it, tell your friends! Your support means a lot, so thank you for your help in getting this project going, I really appreciate it :’) But it’s not over yet, there’s still time to join and let others know :D

I almost forgot to put this together! Another month, another sketchdump! This one’s for Mira- I mean May. I can’t believe I made this fucking joke two months in a row holy shit
I didn’t really draw much this month either. I liked the original sketches from the headshots I drew last week, So I’m including em here. This month was mostly spent testing out brushes, though there isn’t much to show for it. They’re so fancy and there’s so many of them, it’s a little overwhelming ;~;
The bigger painting is a WIP of Mav’s Isaretta (whom I love, so much) from their original story! As soon as I read that Isaretta’s tarot would be the strength card, I knew what I had to do >:) Don’t mind the background textures and shit, that was just to make it a little less boring than the empty white bg haha I just wanted to post something, cuz I really like how it’s coming so far :O Unfortunately it’s super slow-going and still a ways off from being done orz I’ll probs rework it a bunch too; but someday I’ll finish it!
The plan is to finish a proper art in June haha I’ve got lots of WIPs to choose from, I just gotta, ye know, do it. For reals.

I forgot I had the animator pencil installed and oh my god it’s a gift.
Just some face practice or whatever. Why do I have such a hard time drawing her hair jfc inconsistencies abound, as usual ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ maybe I’ll come back to these for something else later idk
EDIT: I fixed the sketches up a bit and rearranged them, so I’ve replaced the original file.
I think it’s time to go theme shopping. I’ve been meaning to find a new one but damn is it exhausting… I’m gonna miss having all of those options for links, but ah well. The sidebar is fucked up when looking at photosets and idk what happened?? but yea, it’s broken, time to find something new. I’ve also been meaning to change my icon and header, so hopefully I get new stuff drawn for that soon haha

Another sketch dump, this time for the month of Alistair- I mean April.
When I don’t know what to draw, I always end up doodling Alistair, which happened a lot this month. Slowly working towards a consistent way to draw his face, but for now it’s all over the place lmao. Some of these I might end up posting separately after I polish em up a bit more. Especially the Quantum Break stuff; I fucking love Beth and gotta draw her a lot more!!
