I don’t think I did anything but target the way he said them. I’m literally someone dragging ass hoping to make rent each month, you don’t have to tell me how intimidating it is to see some of these posts. Thing is, while I see those posts listing what’s going on in their lives, I never feel like those accomplishments are being lorded over me. Not once has anyone else ever said to me, and I quote, ‘Wow, you must actually live under a rock.’ Just for not being familiar with their work. 

I don’t do drama, either. I don’t like it, it’s not how I like to spend my free time. But I’m also not going to let a friend get called a ‘jealous roid rager’ just because they didn’t stand for someone’s admittedly not hot tone. 

And that’s fine and dandy. But that wasn’t the tone of his original post. If you were offended or upset by something he had to say, or the way he said something, the way to handle that in an adult manner is to say something to him privately. That goes for both you and your bestie over there. His original post stated he just wanted to get that out of the way. It wasn’t lording anything over anything. His responses darkened after your friend decided to use some rude and hateful rhetoric. When people go on the defense, things happen. So that quote your pulling is a little out of context, especially considering, again, that he’d been verbally torn down by her before then. This is all about the initial post, and the reaction to the initial post, and I’m sorry but to me, it truly is no different than half the stuff I’ve seen people put out there. So, defend all you want. But I’ll do the same.

I was literally just in the starter tag and I was just replying to starters and all of them were bragging about being celebrities, being a power couple, and having 500 accomplishments so okayyyyyyyyy. I literally made one post, my intro post which was you know… an intro, with stuff people ask me about when I introduce myself to them. Meanwhile, you’re railing on me in multiple posts. Obsessively. Without provocation. But go off. I’m not sure who ruined your entire life and made you feel like you needed to try to bring other people down, but American’s Sweetheart is nice to bullies too so you’ll get your reply. I’ll ask for you to end the uncalled for attitude though. Nobody asked for that. I’ve been nothing but kind to everyone and it would have been pretty cool of you if you could find even a smidge of humility instead of acting like a ‘roid rager and find yourself a warm welcome instead of trying to piss in my cheerios for literally no reason and making yourself look like a wild buffoon flinging shit without any thought. 

Homie, I don’t know how to tell you this, but calling yourself America’s Sweetheart isn’t helping the whole ‘full of yourself’ thing. Like I definitely don’t know you as a person, but your first post did have some heavy ‘look at me, I’m the shit, we all know it’ vibes. Like you’re out here saying that everyone’s constantly listing their accomplishments and bragging on themselves, and in your first reply to me, made sure to outline that you’ve been in the biz since you were a baby with your really famous parents. So I mean. Self-reflection does exist, and humility is a skill that maybe we should all learn. 

Okay, but the point getting missed here is that what he said was no different than over half the statuses I’ve seen made by everyone else. So why is he receiving responses like this? I’m a very quiet person, and I’m not going to start drama. But, I literally just saw someone refer to themselves as “half of one of the fashion industry’s most powerful couples”. There’s another starter talking about a new single and a new album. I’ve seen at least three more talking about movies, shows, etc. that others are doing. If you didn’t like his wording, then say that. But these words appear a stupid level of targeted, and I’m sorry but that’s not fair.

Compared to everyone else around here, I’m tame actually. Every other starter on this thing that I’ve seen so far is a long, long list of achievements. We’ve got people here that talk about being in like 500 different things at the same time and all of those 500 things add another level of celebrity. I’m just getting the quick formalities over so that I can get to being treated like a human being instead of someone that’s grown up knowing only celebrity. There are certain FAQS that come with being a child star since literal fetus-hood, especially when said child star has two incredibly famous, international parents whose love story was international news. I put the questions that people ask me most often in my starter so that I wouldn’t have to answer the same questions a thousand times. It’s just easier. It’s chill, most people don’t understand the celebrity lifestyle so you don’t stick out. I do have the experience of being mobbed, so I know how to prepare for it. What was your name again? I don’t think I caught it. 

So it wouldn’t be too far off to say that you’ve got time to go see a live show. You don’t even have to go see mine on Broadway, the live arts always need patrons.

And yet, there are others in the same situation as you, who haven’t bothered to introduce themselves in that way. So either you’re so attached to your status that you need to flaunt it at every turn or you’re so detached from the rest of the world that you think most people actually give a fuck. As for my name, Clarissa.

I’m going blind and if I’m going to spend my time, money, and eye power on live theatre, it will be something I’m particularly interested in seeing and right now there’s not a lot on stage I want to see.

DEVON: Because that's /my/ job. Acting this way. At all times, especially when you're trying to act indignant.

DEVON: Yikes, I know, I do know that it's on the dangerous side. Maybe I do like danger. Maybe I just want to see you that bad. You did well at rehearsal, you look good.

DEVON: Teasing me much? /Good, maybe I will./ I do. I know you. I know how to do a lot of sweet things with you.

STEVIE: Hm. That must be why they pay you the big bucks, then.

STEVIE: At least you know. That's a lot of uncertainty. So, maybe I'm a means to an end, but maybe you just want to see me. Got it. So did you. You know I was watching. I always do.

STEVIE: That didn't make me sound like a creep or anything.

DEVON: You burn me so. I know so. I've seen it. And hopefully I'll see it again soon.

DEVON: A danger kink sounds fun, care to elaborate, professor?

DEVON: I'm sure. I've looked around. We can head to my dressing room, if you prefer. I just spent all day with you, now I want to actually /be with you/ for a minute.

STEVIE: It's my job, you shouldn't be surprised. Why must you insist on being this way, when I am clearly attempting to act indignant?

STEVIE: That depends. Are you saying that's a possibility? It seems like it is, considering you and I both know that anyone, including your significant other, could walk in at any moment. Is that the adrenaline rush you're looking for?

DEVON: I bet you are, you like me recognizing your face. And a cute face it is too.

DEVON: I know. Come back in. I stayed behind and it's just me in this big, big space. We can get back to those rehearsals you were just talking about on the public dash. ;)

STEVIE: You're making an awful big assumption there, Devon. Is it? You think so?

STEVIE: You know, if you have some sort of danger kink, you /can/ just come out and say it. I'll only judge a little.

DEVON: I see your face on social media.

DEVON: I mean you're online.

STEVIE: Yes, you do. Glad to know you're still able to recognize it.

I’m Devon Lennox, for those of you that haven’t formally met me. Yes, the Devon Lennox of the Crawford family, currently headlining on Broadway and yes I’ll sign your VHS of me as a kid if you bring it to the stage door. Glad we got that out of the way. What’s everyone been up to this weekend? I’d better hear some good stories, don’t waste those beautiful lives. 

Hello, Devon. It’s good to see you’ve moved yourself into the 21st Century with social media. I’m sure hoardes of your fans will be simply thrilled. If I didn’t know you, I’d ask if you were intending to be cocky or not. I do know you, though, so I already know the answer. Yes. The answer is yes. I’d respond to the last bit of your update, but with rehearsals what they are, you already know exactly where I’ve been this weekend. 

So my new single has been out for a few days and you can check the video out here. I love this song and the video. This means my album is nearly done and ready to be released and I am so excited for you guys to hear it. How is everyone? Are you ready for March? 

You’ve been busy, it seems. This will be the pot calling the kettle black, however I would be remiss if I didn’t at least remind you to take time off. You can’t be productive if you’re burnt out. I am doing well, ready for the new show to begin later this month. 

Does anyone have any recommendations for tv shows to watch or podcasts to listen to? Preferably long episodes, preferably not serial dramas or procedurals. Something to really keep a person awake during the dead of night when they’re trying to make sure no one steals a dinosaur skeleton.

I do not watch very much television, and I definitely am not the person to make a podcast recommendation. So unfortunately, I cannot be of much help. However, in terms of your question about the best ways to stay awake- many times, energy levels come down to eating and sleeping patterns, along with exercise habits and routines. Making small adjustments to all of the above can be helpful. Or, you know, you could simply hop on the energy drink bandwagon. Though, I don’t necessarily recommend that. I’m Stevie Evans, by the way. 

My brain hurts.  Brother in law comes over to see Chelsea and ends up staying to watch Lord of the rings with me.  I thought great a bonding session as we don’t have much in common , sadly he didn’t have a clue what was going on and i didn’t realise it was possible to ask so many questions about one Movie.  I think I need a lie down to recover . 

I don’t think there is much I can say about this, in this instance. Admittedly, I have not seen Lord of the Rings either. I did, however, read the books. Therefore, I do have some idea of the premise of the movies. I’m glad to hear you survived though. 

This is it! I am ‘keeping’ my wife, and staying in Mexico with her forever! I swear, this little getaway was everything we needed as a couple, and I don’t know if I am ready to leave the hot waters and go back to NY and then to Cali. Guys, what’s happening?! I am so anti-Valentine’s Day and now look at me!

I’m happy to hear you had such a good holiday and vacation, Quinn. You and Rachel both are incredibly deserving. How have things been since your return?

So it’s been a while since I actually did one of these but Hi, how is everyone doing? Guess what guys? It’s my opening night of Legally Blonde the musical today, I am playing Emmett in the show and honestly I am so excited but nervous. You can get tickets, but not for tonight as they are sold out and honestly as much as it’s nice my parents actually want to support me, I am kind of dreading them being here. At least Annie will be there too. Also if people have seen Sing 2 please let me know what you think.  Think that is all my updates. What’s everyone else been up to?

Hey, Calvin. It’s good to see you back around, you should poke your head out more. I say, being a workaholic and hermit myself. Congratulations on the show, and making it to opening night. We all know what a feat that is. I’ll swing by and see it when I have a night free from my own. Don’t be nervous, you’re going to rock it. I have faith in you. And, don’t worry about your family. It’ll all be alright, and I’m sure you won’t even think about it once you’re on stage. I haven’t seen Sing 2, in fact I haven’t seen Sing 1. But, let me know what you think if you get to see it! I know who you are, another chip off the Broadway block right? Ah, it was a reference to FRIENDS, that old show they used to play and is constantly on repeats these days. You’re cool, I am positive I’ve said that exact sentence at one point in my life. I do get lost on those Netflix documentaries sometimes, the topic is an interesting one, not that interesting feels like the right word to use. 

A few friends have reached out and offered different ways of help. It’s a working progress. I have an airbed at the moment and a furniture delivery will be here next week. However, I might take you up on that offer if you wanna hang out? Is 25 a little old for a sleep-over? Pinky swear I’m not a serial killer either.

So you do, then. Sorry about that. I never like to lead with, “you probably recognize me”, so I just assume people don’t. I recognize you too, though. I’m just awkward, I have no excuse. Ohhhhh, right, right. I’ve heard of it, I’ve even seen a few random episodes. I just couldn’t ever really get into it myself. That’s a relief, one of these days I’ll come across someone who thinks I’m being serious. Same! It’s morbid, when you think about it, but in many ways you just can’t bring yourself to look away. I don’t watch much TV or many movies overall, but when I do, that’s often what I go for. 

That’s good, at least you aren’t lying on a floor any longer. Well, not directly. Congratulations on the furniture, I’m sure that’ll help the situation exponentially. You’re welcome to do that. I can’t remember the last time I actually hung out with anyone. I don’t think it is, no. Then again, I’m only 24, so maybe that year makes all the difference. You’re good in my book, though.
