The silent blanket of the night - It lulls me in and dazes my mind. The darkness is blocking out any sight Hiding away the ugliness. I feel deaf. blind. I wonder why there is beauty in the dark, As I walk the chosen path, shadows line my ways Why do I have the urgent need to leave a mark on the unfallen snow in the late summer days? It must've been the thought of you! And the gaping regret of leaving you behind But the sun has got to stay the summer true So I have to wait for the winter snow I'm trying to find
