Mostly easy now. I take the train to work, I take the train home. Things fall in place usually. I’ll ask someone how their day was and they reply and we smile at each other. I don’t check my reflection in the mirror because I know what’s there and what’s there is good enough. Some days I feel bad, but that’s just one day. Sometimes the sun comes out and it hits me and I feel calm and I remember you. It’s there in that warmth that you are with me still. It’s gotten easier to accept fact that I’m going to love you in some unrequited way until I die.
