a quick glance at his phone has him humming along his stroll to the alley. it's peaceful as ever on the xianzhou, and the general would almost mourn the days passing by him, if he knew there weren't plenty more days to come (more than he would like, at that). alas, he's grateful to hear the merry laughter of children and the constant haggling of customers and vendors as he approaches aurum alley. days like these are all he ever wants to see, and he's thankful for the nameless for pitching in a piece of joy.
jing yuan mirrors caelus and gives a wave of his own, smiling as he approaches and giving a small nod to everyone who greets him. "hope i didn't keep you waiting." he found his walk here to be quite relaxing, so he felt no need to rush. "i haven't been here in quite some time, no. it feels like it's been rejuvenated with life, much like how it felt in the past." he gives caelus a nod. "i would like that. do show me your favorite spots."
Caelus smiles at the comment. He's glad to have done something good for xianzhou ship. People coming and going from the alley have mentioned the same, of course, but it felt like something special coming from the general himself. "Well, you wanted to meet for tea, right? We could go to Du's teahouse. Just...don't try any of his 'experimental' drinks." He said with a small shiver running down his spine. Last time he did that - he had blacked out and ended up in a different area all together with no memory of what had transpired. No one seemed to know what he did during that time either.
"I can show you a few places on the way." Caelus smiled, quick to turn and walk into the alley. He seemed almost like an excited child as he pointed out the few food stalls and shops on the way, waving and checking in with the owners while he did so - though he noticed an obvious change in their demeanor. It didn't occur to him right away that it might have been Jing Yuan's presence. Still, they managed to get a seat at the tea house easily enough.
"Sorry about all that." He mentioned after they had ordered. "I didn't think showing you around would become a big thing." He rubbed at the back of his neck with a sheepish smile.

Caelus flops down on the plush couch of the express, ignoring pom-pom's warnings of not putting his feet up on fabric - he doesn't have a death wish. Plus, he's content with resting upright for the few moments of peace he had. He had just finished up a few commissions and was looking forward to resting -- when his phone went off.
"Who is it now?" He couldn't help but grumble before he actually saw who was messaging him. Oh! It had been awhile since the general had messaged him.
to: King Yuan Caught me at a good time actually, just finished everything I had planned for today. As long as you're buying/making it, I'm down. Should I meet you at your place?
jing yuan can't help how his face lights up from receiving a response most desired. this means he has plans, one that involves pretending that he doesn't see the stacks of papers that sits on his desk. he takes a leisurely stroll out of the seat of divine foresight, grateful that there is no one at present who would question his coming and goings.

He's quick to message back before hopping off of the couch and rushing a goodbye to the conductor before warping off of the express. Today had been a day for the museum, but checking in on the alley while he was there wasn't something Caelus was opposed to either. Though he would have to keep in mind that he was there to spend time with the general and not go off on one of his hours long work shifts planning delivery routes and stacking inventory.
He waits almost impatiently at the main entrance for the alley. Eventually, though, he sees the tall man and puff of white hair in the distance.
"Hey." Caelus greeted casually, a small wave of his hand. The alley didn't seem too busy at this hour, but the few people that were there were still staring as if he had grown another head. Were people really so surprised that he could address their general casually like this? "Have you been to the alley since I started fixing it up? I could show you around abit if not, there's alot of new shops."

real talk about the arlan gun emoji tho -- arlan probably hates guns and doesn't like using them though he's relatively good at using any weapon he gets his hands on. He just thinks it's almost too easy to use / hurt someone with a gun.
....not that arlan hasn't killed without one before, but still it's the thought that anyone could just pick up a gun and hurt someone while other weapons you actually need skill to use makes arlan go eh...no.

"Funny, I don't remember asking." Arlan scoffed slightly before putting down the first aide kit. Of course he knew that Blade was used to getting hurt - it was his entire thing. Much to Silver Wolf's dismay, as she was still waiting for his hand to heal so they could play video games together. But, that's not why Arlan was here, insistent on patching of Blade's wounds again. "You might be faster to heal than others but it would be a problem if your wounds got infected, Master."
He knows Blade hated being called that, but perhaps it would get the swordsman to listen for once in his extended life. It's with a practiced hand that he all but forces Blade to let him take off his coat so he could get a better look at the wounds and start disinfecting them.
"Elio said we can take it easy for a few days." Not that he ever expected his 'Master' to take it easy, ever. "Was there anywhere you wanted to go?"
