* young women with no tops on but a lot of body paint *young women with no tops on and also no body paint * older gentlemen wearing about a handkerchief’s worth of fabric and a couple of beads on their entire body * individuals wearing both very feminine clothing (including Disney Princess Halloween costumes) and luxuriant beards * staff members charging down narrow lanes pushing carts full of stuff in front of them * kids under the age of 16 busking * white people with dreads * black people with dreads (significantly less common). * people wearing horns * people on stilts * Patch Adams (yes, like in the Robin Williams film)–he’s the guy with the extremely long pony tail dyed blue * rather impressive metal work statues *jugglers who also engage in stand up comedy while doing their act * Politics Park, a large toilet complex in which each cubicle is named after a different politician (which hasn’t been updated much since 2006). * ridiculously expensive art * ridiculously cheap art * peaches everywhere * shamans/herbalists/psychics advertising their wares at booths all over the fair * a food booth run by old hippies proudly advertising they’ve been there since 1980 or 1973 * a food booth selling the cuisine of a country, none of whose employees are from that country * the guy selling little charms with the word “peace” in every language imaginable (including Klingon) * food booths selling lemonade * a location with a punny name And finally, not a sight but a smell: * despite the sign at the front of the fair saying OCF is drug-free, the occasional whiff of what is clearly marijuana wafting through the air as you pass by.
