It would have been frightening in its intensity, except that while she was with him, she could not be afraid of anything. She had come home. This was where she belonged, and she had found it at last. rebekah appreciation week. [belated] day 1: why do you love Rebekah? i love Rebekah because since the start i felt a pull towards her, we saw that she was indeed a strong girl, a little bitchy and carefree, but that she needed love nonetheless, and she was ready to fight for her love, no matter what. that’s what i love the most about her, she can be more than 1000 years old, but in the end “she’s just a girl”… she trusts people very easily, because she’s desperate for love, the love she didn’t have from her family and especially from klaus, the brother she loves more than herself. she hides behind the mask of the mean girl, but in the end she just needs friends and love, and i couldn’t help but feel for her. i really hope in the end she will be able to show everyone that she can be trusted and she can be a very good friend, if people just will give her a try.
