something something like be careful who you give your love to. make sure they can take it, make sure they are ready to hold it, to be a part of it, to be engulfed like a wave, can they swim? floating is ok too, but you just have to at least know how to tread water, hold yourself there in the abyss of love and holding and being seen and do you even want me to see you? I see you so clearly but I think you might be hiding for some reason and and i never knew how to look away, to stop looking, at something i like, i love to stare, and i know it can be rude but i want to tell you how i like your quiet confidence and ability to exist within your own mind, comfortably? maybe not to you, but on the outside you read like a book i just have to get my hands on and devour immediately. i want to learn every page and make marks in the margins and copy quotes to my journal to save for later so i can remember just how good it made me feel made me think made me want to know more, want to keep going
