I usually drink a thermos of soup for lunch when I'm at work – not allowed on H2Only! Egg and cress it is, then.

On Saturday evening, we went to see a mate’s band. It was the first time I’d seen them without drinking a load of beers. They actually weren’t bad.

Someone dropped a pint. The beer splashed on my face. There was a drop on my lip. I didn’t lick it off.

On Sunday, I made this Nigella Lawson coffee cake. There may or may not be an extra spoon of espresso powder. It is seeing us through Monday.
