writing this down on the internet so i dont forget about this au concept I've been cooking up EVERYONE LISTEN TO ME OKAY
what if Knight Helmet was manipulated by Mr. Hand instead? and like it was really tragic and stuff because Knight Helmet takes his evil as divinity and mercy so he's stuck serving him because of the misguided path he had been led down. i feel like it'd be a lot more interesting to see how Mr. Hand could play with his mind a little bit and tell him how brave and strong he was- like he'd praise him and feed his ego every time he helped him and then he'd call him weak and pathetic for not doing something correctly/perfectly. it'd probably make him chase that praise again and make him fight harder for all the challenges.
