If you hadn't noticed with the calls I posted today, I started tagging your DNIs (to an extent)
The obvious DNIs I will not tag, as in T.R.A.S.H and radqueers (as those are expected to not be here anyway, given those are this blogs DNI only DNI.
So what AM I tagging? "Endos dni", "anti endos dni", "antiship dni", "proship dni", "minors dni" and "adults dni" (basically what I call "the oppositers")
If you don't have a DNI, I will simply not tag anything.
Honestly, this is something I should have been doing the moment I introduced "personal DNI" to the roster of things on the application.
Now, question time:
Should we get rid of "Current name"? (pros/cons under cut)
Yes, get rid of it
No, don't get rid of it

Pros for getting rid of it:
It takes up space for other relevant info, so ridding it makes it easier to read
Most people go by their character name anyway/It takes time to delete that section of the application, so get rid of it.
Cons for getting rid of it:
I've been messaged/asked about it being potentially dangerous to give out your name (safety concern, but no one has given their full legal name, but there is a possibility)
Might deadname someone who has since transitioned with a new name.
It makes this blog feel less special when I say "good luck" and not your name, but just a character you are.

Seeing people I know and like using AI is making me understand the protagonists of those old time sci fi dystopia's.

You lived on this planet for decades, you know what you like, there are hundreds of websites where you can type into any search engine " things to do in [area]" and have at least a hundred different options.
"Oh I only use it so I can figure out what to make during the week with what I have"
The most popular website as you type in "recipes" into google have sections where you click dinner- quick and easy and those usually rely on staples + 1 or 2 items. I found 30 recipes on chicken alone.
"I had a writing idea, so I typed a few sentences into Chat GPT and I was able to write 20 pages with it."
