It's Smokey Shanks Fanfic Time! Hope you guys enjoy!
Twas raining down here in critterwood, small water drops falling from the sky, it’s even raining down at Simon’s house.
There inside the cozy home we see Billy Shanks and Simon Smoke just vibing together in their comfy clothes on the living room couch. Simon is on his phone texting his friends, he is also listening to some music with his headphones while Billy is reading a lovely good storybook about an adventurous critter on a quest in the enchanted skies.
But suddenly lightning flashes outside, making Billy lift his head in a short second and then, the thunder starts to rumble, causing Billy to whimper in worry, Simon then notices Billy looking uneasy as if he saw something off. “Hey, you doing ok?” Said Simon, while taking off his headphones. Billy looked at Simon and said “Oh I’m doin alright, Smokey nothing to worry about at all!”
Then thunder again struck and Billy flinched with a gasp, “are you sure you’re alright?” Simon asked, but Billy dismissed his fear. “I told you I’m fine, really, nothing to wor-” Just then the thunder struck even louder making Billy scream in terror, he held his head and closed his eyes, his body shivering from fear. This shocked Simon, “Wait, are you afraid of the storm?” Simon asked.
Simon knew Billy well since they first met, there’s no way he ever saw him this afraid, Billy lifted his head still trembling “heh, I guess this mighty storm sure spooked me huh? Guess I’m just a lil bit jumpy.” Said Billy as he laughs nervously, he admits he’s afraid of thunder, the loud noise even makes him want to hide under a blanket.
The thunder continues to slash its noise thus making the ram hold his head, shivering even more. Looking how scared he is, Simon did the most generous thing, he took off his headphones and slid them on Billy’s ears. Billy Shanks then opened his eyes, he didn’t hear the thunder anymore, the ram looked at Simon who smiled and gave him a thumbs up. “You’re welcome.” Said Simon, Billy smiled, he couldn’t hear what he said because of the headphones but Billy knew what Simon was saying, “Thank You, Simon.” Said Billy as he pulled Simon into a hug “Heh, anytime Treasure.” Said Simon.
And so the two spend the rest of the storm all cuddled up in a blanket and reading a nice book together, Simon smiles seeing Billy happy and calm thanks to the headphones he gave him, Simon will do anything to protect his boyfriend from anything that fears him, even the storm.
