love a character who's painfully human and desperately heroic despite it. simultaneously mortal and symbol. fighting through it with tears in their eyes. scared and hurt and broken and deciding to prioritise the greater good anyway. the collective hopes of humanity are resting on shoulders that are bloody and shaking and on the verge of giving out. they're no god they're the same as you but they're your saving grace all the same. their seeming invincibility and bravery stems from that brittle human desperation and i love that dichotomy
