Sunburnt

Fallen London recently became my hyperfixation and special interest! Particularly the lore and world as a whole. I love thinking about narrative parallels, allusions, and themes... ohoho <3 My fav subjects are Judgements, the Bazaar, Zee gods (esp Stone!), Masters, and devils. Here's a masterpost of all my lore and theorizing!

I'm an infamous Forbidden Shipper. I usually call it Suncrab, originally as shorthand but it helps to have a specific name (easier to block too!). I love thinking about their dynamic and potential in so many ways, but I enjoy it most as a true star crossed romance... I believe in those freaks, I really do.

I write a suncrab fanfic called Creatures of Heaven, which I also do as a comic adaptation.

I have a few OCs! I like them!! I will actually do more art and writing about them eventually, but would love more excuses to talk about them.

Enoch wants the exterior to look shitty on purpose (though it does hurt his heart), because the Dregs is an extremely expensive, meticulously crafted piece of engineering and red science. It's main features are "stay in one piece" "go underwater" and "fuel efficiency", but that's Really Quite Hard to achieve at zee. He's had her for years and is always trying to find ways to reinforce and improve her guts. He's more than a little weird about this boat.

This is how Enoch met her, but they have never actually explained the connection to her poisoning. Enoch paid for her to be housed and treated while ill, spoke to her as a concerned charitable citizen, and then focused on her writing aspirations as a way to further financially support her. They introduced her to Mikhail, her patron.

The bazaar probably not only is the Neathly champ of horniness, it also definitely has a bunch of poetic-destructive romantic fantasies like.

"Imagine if sol danced with me and held me so close in orbit we spun and spun & my body caught flame... & with one final leap I soared, a being of light and fire and life and death, & then he threw me to the earth & shattered my bones and spirit and self........" And this is deeply sexual to it. "Imagine if sol cut me open into a billion fine strips & its fire touched the dark tunnels within my shell, if its gaze could caress everything unspoken and unseen, if I could be witnessed and known and consumed." Again, expressed as extremely sexual as well as romantic.
