"So what does his letter say?" Katara asked as she slid the door closed.

Toph dug into her duffel until she found the scroll. She held it out for one of her friends to read.

"Dibs!" Suki called taking the scroll from her.

"Hey!" Katara whined with a small pout.

Suki chuckled as she flopped on the bed,Katara followed suit soon after

"Are you kidding me? These letters have became a highlight of our visits!" Suki beamed.

"What does this one say?" Katara asked,gently shaking her shoulder.

"Okay,okay!" Suki giggled then cleared her throat before reading:

My Dearest Friend Toph,

Everything is going great with the air nomads and air acolytes. 

I love traveling through different towns and villages and presenting our knowledge about our culture to anyone willing to listen.

Even still,I can't  help but miss everyone.  I always think about how the  five of us used to. All of us traveling and camping overnight makes me nostalgic.

It's been too long since us and our gang all been together. I'm really excited for our vacation next month.

I love all our friends and look forward to seeing all of them but between you and me:

You have been the one on my mind the most.

I really missed you.

I missed seeing your smile,I missed hearing your voice and I missed making you laugh. If I was a musician, i would call it my favorite song.

Every time I think about being with you, I instantly smile and my heart starts to race.

I  would love to create new memories with you. I am eagerly counting down the hours and days until we reunite again.

Katara and Suki gasped as if they were scandalized by what they just read.

"Toph!" Suki grinned widely.

"What?" Toph's expression remained neutual.

"He definitely has a crush on you!" Katara beamed.

"No,he doesn't."

She really hoped he does.

Toph prepared herself all month for her friends teasing. She could act like the letter still didn't effect her like the first time the messenger read it.

"You're blushing!" Katara pointed out.

Dammit.

"He's just being nice! Aang's a good guy! That's what friends do!"Toph insisted.

"Oh no. Aang writes us letters but not like this." Suki held up the scroll.

"He wishes us the best and says he's excited to see us but not-" Katara took her turn to hold the scroll. "Eagerly counting down the hours and days until we reunite again." She grinned.

"Or our laughter being his favorite song!" Suki added. "And the way he signed it off! 'Especially yours'. Toph, he's practically saying he wants to be yours!"

"Last month,Zuko ended his with: 'Even world's apart my heart is always with you. Longing to see you again, Your Prince'."

"Awww!" Suki gushed.

"I know. He's so sweet." Katara swooned,her face becoming dreamy.

"See,Toph? Aang's not overtly romantic but the intent is still there." Suki told her.

Toph scoffed,the mere fact she felt hopeful and excited was ridiculous. "Oh,please. You guys don't know anything!"

Her accusation was meet with a chorus of boos and protest.

"As if I don't know romance. I been married for four years!" Suki boasted,thumbing the wolf pendant on her betrothal necklace.

"Me and Zuko been dating for nine!" Katara said.

"Maybe you don't get it because you're new to this whole thing. But me and Katara got this kinda stuff pretty down pack." Suki bantered.

Toph huffed as she crossed her arms.  "Well, then experts. What you got to teach me?"

"Toph,let us look in your bag." Katara said.

Toph took the bag off her shoulder and handed it to them.

"Now,if you want Aang to notice you differently- then one of the things you should change how you look!" Katara advised.

"What's wrong with how I look?" Toph asked. "I mean,makes no difference to me but still."

"There's nothing wrong with how you look,T." Suki assured.

"What Katara is saying is that sometimes changing your appearance can catch a man's attention more than usual."Suki clarified.

"Yeah! Your hair is always in a bun-except that time you kept the braid Aang did for you." Katara teased with a grin.

"Oh,of course! How could we ever forget!" Suki wistfully said, putting a hand on her forehead.

"Shut up." Toph grumbled.

Katara and Suki chuckled.

"What I'm trying to say is having your hair styled differently or a change of clothes will defiantly help!" Katara smiled.

"Here,you can wear this!" She gave Toph the shirt and let her feel it. It was a low U-neck tank top that show just enough cleavage

"This?"Toph's brows furrowed. "I wear this around my house as pajamas."

"Exactly! This is different from what you usuau8 wear. This well catch his eye sure!" Katara explained.

"...Am I really going to seduce the monk? " Toph asked, a bit incredulously.

"Only if you want to,dear." Suki said.

"Yeah! That's only if you want Aang to see you that way. Do you want to wear something else?" Katara asked.

Aang was such a goofy dork. He was always so kind and had a cheerful demeanor with everyone he meet.

The thought of him staring at her-possibly undressing her with his eyes. Him having lustful thoughts because of her of all people.

It sent a thrill down her spine and her stomach fluttered in the best way.

"No. I-it's okay...!" The blush roared up Toph's cheeks. "I was just...joking!" She grinned sheepishly.

Katara and Suki looked at each other with matching smirks.

"Oooooooh! Okay." Katara said, she wiggled her eyebrows to Suki as she gently nudged her arm.

Suki snickered then hid her giggles behind her hand.
