i forgot to post these (i say for like the 100th time)
i hate that couch with my whole heart,,, it does NOT need to be that difficult to draw
adding the first sketch too bc i think magenta's face/expression here is the absolute cutest ever (i made them both so squishy looking it's so great)
also a little smoochie doodle which i did not like the result of at first bc magenta's hair color looked off,, but now my heart has grown fonder as I've not looked at it for quite some time
(i have such trouble with using the dark blue promarker i own, imo it just doesn't really go well with any other color i use ??? but i still keep testing it sometimes bc i would feel bad for letting such an expensive marker sit unused and i think this particular marker has been with me for like idk 8 years,, so you know)
i have my swedish oral exam tomorrow but once that's off the calendar i shall enjoy drawing some colugenta again
going to a queer bingo night and I'm wondering if it shows i cried just before i came here,,, i should not read angsty fanfics before going to outings lolol
nyways here's my drypoint print of the colungenta art i did today at school !!!!
it's the art i did earlier this year ? our assignment was to use a previously existing photo or art as a base so i chose this one bc i,, like it :)
I'm so happy with how this one turned out,,, pressing prints is so unbelievably messy i feel like I'm going insane, but atleast with drypoint I'm working towards getting rid of the excess paint so it's not like printing woodcuts (ew ew ew)

here's the very basic thumbnail sketch,, i actually really love how this looks too and am a bit bummed i couldn't replicate that face/angle better in the actual art ? but oh well, that only gives me an excuse to redraw it at some point ;)
there's probably enough art for me to do one final small sketchbook dump from this book but I'll see,, i sometimes take a lot of time to think drawings i wanna share so i might not end up sharing anything in the end if the motivation leaves me lol

I'm now thinking about changing frank's animal choice too,,,, honestly the peacock is just very perfect but ngl i do not enjoy drawing the ac birds,,, there's just something weird about them i don't like ??? maybe it's the necks,, peacocks are way too long i think

third time's the charm as they say,, finally drew a vampire kiss I'm satisfied with (slightly more suggestive this one maybe so i will put a tag for it ??)
(okay maybe I'm like 99% satisfied with this,,, there's little annoyances but tbh i think that's a given considering I've looked at it so often)
these are both almost a month old but i haven't really felt the urge to post until now
(here though i have to admit, i redrew magenta's face today,, she didn't look bad but there was just something weird with her eyes,, i thought i might grow to like her since i don't like going back and covering pages but this time that did not happen ! oh well)

i cannot wait till I'm done with this sketchbook, though it has been extremely dear to me and the covers i have decorated look great,,, i really want to use my new big a4 sketchbook bc i finally found one from this brand i really like (talens),,, then maybe i can finally fit these gay ass women fully onto a page instead of having these weird cutoffs
i name all my sketchbooks with a random word from a dictionary !! i have already picked out a name for the next one so understandably i am a bit excited for it :D
i shall post a couple more recent art soon,, i have unfortunately done many topless drawings of magenta which i can't post (hence why i am saying it's unfortunate but tbh only for yall,, i myself am feeling very fortunate having these drawings in my sketchbook,,,) i have really enjoyed referencing statues for my art recently and i usually choose to draw all of them as magenta because she's just that gorgeous
my figure drawing skills are flourishing because of that and also the life drawing classes i had in the past few weeks,, so i might be busy with that for a while still,, i forgot how fun it is to just draw a human body,,,, i need to get back to drawing skeletons too as those are also so much fun
I'm gonna be working on a proper ref (?) sheet for my rhps designs too,, not that the ones i post here are too different from just what they look like in the movie but i do sometimes write a little au fic and i would like to put in more work to bring my descriptions into a visual format at least once, even if they are pretty simple
all of these photograph really badly bc i refuse to limit the amount of different art mediums i use <3 (this is me refusing to admit that it's actually bc my phone is like,, 5 years old and I've dropped in onto hard tile and concrete a handful of times at the very least :'D)
anyways colugenta for you in these trying times (i had no idea what to do with magenta's hands here, but i did not want to figure out how interlocked fingers look like so i got very smart and covered it all up :3

my favorite markers to use when coloring magenta's hair are both dying so i have been kinda switching it up but I've yet to find a new way that feels nice to me
this is probably one of my fave columbia faces I've ever drawn,, her eyes look very whispy (?)
i have this birthmark on my neck that apparently looks a lot like a hickey (as i have been told many times by both relatives and classmates growing up,, yes yes the girl who spends all her time sitting in her room alone and reading fanfiction must be a serious slut, what gave it away??) but somehow i have yet to use it as reference when drawing,,, if it's not clear, i didn't reference it here either so that's why this looks so weird lol
