okay another one of these posts whew i’m sorry /gen

i’ve been thinkinggg . i know i’ve not posted at all or done barely any requests like i said i would — i thought maybe convincing others i would do so then i would actually believe it myself . that did not work . writers’ block is hitting me like a truck , i’ve been busy with school , and i’m literally in another country rn …….. i really do hate having those unanswered asks just sitting in my inbox , and i’m sorry for neglecting this blog !!!

however / therefore , i’ve decided i am abandoning this blog . i want to restart , so you can find me @dawnbun ! moots , you’ll probably see me start following you from there a little bit after this is posted ^_^ that is actually me !!

okay, here's something fun: let's move for a bit, okay pumpkin? you've been in this position for a looong time, let's start with some small baby stretches!! can you put your hand on your head and pull it gently to your left and then your right shoulder? oh well done, honey!! 💗💗 let's roll these shoulders to the back, too!! you're doing very well, baby, i'm so proud of you <33

oohh and you know what else is important for you, sunshine? a bit of fresh air!! oh don't look at me like that, hun, it'll be fun!! if you haven't been outside today, try to go for a small walk, okay? ☀️ and if that's not possible, let's open the windows for a bit!!

Being a caregiver can be a lot of work, and it can be even more tough if you’re going through a hard time yourself. It’s important to make sure that caregivers are receiving the same care they’re giving! ❤︎︎

-> Ask what you can do! If you’re IRL, see if there are things you can do to lighten the load for them. Even doing “small” things (such as chores or things of that nature) to help out can do a lot.

-> Make sure they’re taking prioritizing themself. As caregivers, sometimes we can forget to take care of ourself when we’re busy taking care of others. Simple check-ins (asking if they’ve eaten, drank water, etc.) can make a difference.

-> Express your gratitude! Caregivers do a lot, and even just getting that acknowledged means a lot. Even simply saying “thank you” or drawing a small picture for them can make a world of difference.

-> Maintain open communication to ensure they aren’t getting overwhelmed. This can be especially true if you are a more frequent regressor, as it’s extra important to check in that your caregiver isn’t getting burnt out.

-> Most importantly, be patient, kind and understanding. Caregivers are people too, and they don’t just exist to take care of others. Respect their wishes, and help them in any way you can! Just asking what they need and showing thoughtfulness makes a huge difference.

A little who struggles with self hygiene and needs help so their cg/babysitter reminds them to take care of themselves or teaches/helps them!

Or a cg/babysitter who struggles with self hygiene instead and the little reminds them and tries to teach/help them!

Or a cg/babysitter and a little who both struggle with self hygiene so they both remind and help/teach each other 𐙚𐔌˶ ՞.⁠ .⁠՞꒱っ

please remember that regression is okay even if you're having negative feelings. whether you're sad, stressed, angry, feeling icky, having bad thoughts, it's all okay

seeing littles on my feed feeling guilty about their regression when they're upset breaks my heart :(

i wish i could cuddle all of you and tell you that it's okay to be upset, its okay to regress with awful feelings and thoughts, its all okay and it's not your fault. please be gentle with yourselves & always know that you're not a bad person for regressing! never ever!

of course having big feelings is hard when you're small and it isn't necessarily "expected" of a little, but that's nothing you can control and that's okay! it's always ALWAYS okay <3
