In days of old they ruled as Kings of Winter, but since Aegon's Conquest they have been Wardens of the North and ruled as Lords of Winterfell. Their seat, Winterfell, is an ancient castle renowned for its strength.

A Brandon Stark I drew a few months ago. I was going to add Lyanna Stark, but maybe later. I also accidentally drew a rope instead of a leather cord! Oh well…

the crown, wolf and blood need some work.. but i think sansa and the hound are mostly complete save a few adjustments here and there.

i told myself i wouldnt flood the internet with progress shots so people wont get confused when trying to find the finished version but.. i suck so here you go.

I told myself that I was going to make simpler pieces this month, that I wouldn’t give myself grief over being perfect or over-polishing my pieces. I really did.

It turns out, I must’ve been lyin’, because there are about 35 versions of this mofo. One thing I can guarantee is that the Patreon process video going out in the rewards next month is gonna be a hoot.

Either way, I like how this turned out. I wasn’t going for a realistic approach at all, but it sort of turned that-a-way somewhere along the way. I did want to make her look slightly older, with an air to Catelyn and I think that all in all, I got to where I was going. Even if I took the long, angsty route around.
