{ ♔ } —— ❝Right here.❞ As if on cue, the golden monkey peered around                            her shoulder, his fur standing on end.

              "But... it is a monkey. You keep your soul                within an animal? Is it a magic trick?"

     { ♔ } —— ❝ No, I mean your daemon, like your soul! ❞

                    "In my body, of course. Where is your soul?"

       Arya squats down on her hams, arms resting        against her knees as she smiles down at the girl.                               ”Two lessons, little bird.                  lesson number one —— everyone’s a liar.                 lesson number two —— no one’s gonna catch                                                            you when you fall.                     Now come on. Back bend.”        She hooks her arm undeneath Poppet’s back and pushes a bit.

                     "I do not wish to do this any longer. Will you get me a                       caramel apple?" Poppet inquires, standing up. 

"Sex? Uh… sex is something that you don’t need to know about…"

      “I promise.” Said with her fingers         twisted behind her back. She had        to learn somehow. 

               Satisfied, Poppet lifts her arms, shuts her eyes and leans back.                  ---- and hits the floor with a soft thud. She's briefly disorientated                 and then she regains her senses.                                 "You're a liar!"

               "Daemon? Like a monster?"

         ”Well the stars should leave your pretty            little head alone for the day. Come on,            can you show me your back bend?”

                 "Do you promise to catch me if I fall backwards?"

    “—…no more than any other day.”

                 "Where have your parents gone, then?"

        Arya shrugs, the hint of a smile at the         corners of her mouth. “Seems like a fair trade.”

               "Good, because I have nothing else to trade.                  I could tell you your future, but the stars have                  been giving me awful headaches."
