Claire's job closed without warning. I am (very) disabled cannot work. She is having (extreme) trouble finding work. Her unemployment has not been paid yet. We have no idea when (or if) it will be. We haven't even paid rent yet. We have no car. The busses aren't running due to a strike. I have medical issues that make it hard to regulate my body temperature. We can't afford to run the AC. I do not know if we will be able to afford Claire's literal lifesaving hrt. Hell we can't even afford litter for Wafer, let alone her prescription food and heart medication.
