Rules/Guidelines
Rules are simple :: let's be kind, respectful and patient of each other; no god-modding; let's not spread negativity/drama/discourse/disrespect. Most importantly let's just have fun :3
On that note, being 21+, there will chances of nsfw themes. Nothing explicit will be present (because this mun is terrible at writing and will die trying to write anything NSFW)... but Discretion is adviced. Such posts will be tagged appropriately and hidden under a "read more"
Feel free to drop any ask, submissions, mentions, replies, reblogs etc to interact. I'm open to any interactions, within or outside of the Love and Deepspace universe~
Blog will be low activity and responses may take awhile. I sincerely ask for your patience ><;;
Open to ships/multi-ship and will have its own verse. Discussion beforehand is appreciated. Fair warning, Muse can be a bit dense and often not the type to start anything romantic.
!--- [text] ---! < any text surrounded by these are admin talking :3
Oh, on that note, likes and follows will be coming from return2zero, my main blog. If you'd like to find my LADS ramblings it'll be over at @ourlittleuluru
‼ One final thing. Please do not feed any of my works (art/writing/anything otherwise) into AI ‼

Once they were settled into one place, furniture slightly rearranged, new shoe rack at the front door for their combined pairs of shoes, new fridge to accommodate their shared stock, he stands in their kitchen making her a parfait. It's quick, it's easy, and its a no-bake dessert.
The physical gestures and closeness they share now were still so new to her, making her whole face flush red and her heartbeat quicken. Perhaps this would be something she could never get used to.
Avoiding eye contact, she made a small pout.
"I was just asking if you wanted to hit the home improvement store later... like maybe a..." The words were still hard to say. It may be just a simple 4 letter word but it means so much more than that, that it ended up being stuck in her throat.
"I still would like some of your input and touches on it" she continued while tugging on his sleeve, leaving some words left unsaid.
"Home improvement? Sure, I like running errands with you."
He smiled as if to say, that's all it is - isn't it?
While he couldn't help but notice the way she was still shy, he also couldn't help wanting to be closer to her. If he was the only one allowed at this distance, he wanted to take full advantage of his privileges.
Drawing closer he couldn't help kissing her forehead again, and then her nose, "But if we get your favorite honey milk tea, and pick out something new to try together... Then it'll be a date. What do you think?"
Wanting to reciprocrate his feelings sincerely she sandwiched his face between her hands, looking at him squarely. "Y-yes... it's a date, then...!"
---
Thankfully, the location of the store she was thinking of, wasn't a far distance away from their home (and the milk tea store).
Whilst on their walk to the store, she tugged at his hand which she was holding, finally asking the question that has been on her mind for a while. "Should we get the drinks first? Or look around for decorations first? I can't guarantee that we won't end up with a lot of stuff to carry..."
He handed her a new book and smiled. "It's a bit romantic, a bit thrilling. We should read it together this weekend."
Taking the book from his hand, she turned it front and back, inspecting it.
Without really filtering the thoughts in her head, she absentmindly commented: "You know... I thought you were gonna say this new book is our love story or something."
After realizing what she had said out loud, there was a long pause. She did her best to pretend that never happened. "Yea! Sure. This weekend sounds great. :)"
"Um... H-hi! Jenna told me to leave these on your desk—um, for your reports? A-also—" She pauses, nervously tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "Ms. Chu, right? Um... I-I just wanted to say that I think you look really nice today...!"

Not expecting any visitors at her desk this day, she turned to look at the cute girl standing in front of her. Blink blink.
"O-oh! Um, thank you for coming all this way with these..." Unsure of what to do with her hands, she started to just straigthen up the folders and papers in her hands before tucking them away to the side of her desk.
The compliment took her by surprise, a small flush of red creeping up her cheeks. It was hard to tear her head away from staring at the desk, to look at the speaker who's much more adorable.
"And... Thank you for that. You look really lovely yourself today." She said with a small nod, finally facing the girl. "I hope work hasn't been too tiring for you, today."
"Oh... n- no? Sorry, I—" sheepish, she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and nods. "I-I just think that everyone in UNICORNS is really cool, so I think it was a force of habit..."
Still, even as they walked, the weight of the silence between them stretched on enough for even her to feel awkward. She wished, then, that she could carry a conversation more efficiently than this. The longer it went on, the more she could feel the heat spreading to her cheeks again, and she fiddled with her fingers.
"Um, do you... usually like going to cafes—?"
She spoke at roughly the same time as Chu, and their simultaneous questions made her jump a little in surprise. Still, she couldn't help but giggle a little, and at least it did something to make the air between them less awkward.
She shook her head.
"I'm normally not very good with coffee... Sometimes it's, um, too bitter? So I end up having to add a lot of milk to balance it out, but... I-I do like mochas!"
It was Miki who stepped forward to hold the door open for Chu, and almost immediately upon entering the cafe, that familiar scent of coffee surrounded them both. Despite herself not being an avid coffee lover, she'd come to associate this scent with something comforting.
"Oh... does coffee make you sleepy? But... Isn't it supposed to do the opposite of that?"
She looked at Chu curiously. "Um, what do you normally drink, then?"
It was a classic movie scenario - when two characters tries to speak at the same time after what seemed like an awkward silence. The giggle that followed made it hard for Chu to keep herself from laughing, only allowing a small huff to escape her quiet laugh.
"Yeah, I get you."
She couldn't help but feel a little disappointed that the door was not hers to hold this time. Since, she's usually the one who does it. Regardless, as Chu stepped inside, she briefly nodded her head in thanks.
"Have you tried dipping sugar coated cream crackers into coffee before?"
Whilst attempting to hold the conversation, her eyes scanned the room.
"After a cracker or two, it helps make black coffee more tolerable."
It didn't take her too long to find the perfect spot. The seats were nice and cushioned, with the sun coming in from the window at a perfect angle that makes it seem as if it was sparkling. Thankfully the cafe has the perfect cooling temperature, so it wasn't too warm to sit by. With how secluded the corner was, the bustling sounds of people working the coffee machines and fellow patrons chatting became a soothing ambient track. In fact, it almost felt like the perfect place for a nap. Chu had to quickly shake off that thought in her head.
"Oh, do you mind if we sit over there later?" Chu pointed towards her suggested seating area, as she continued to respond to the questions that were still left answered.
"I'm just as confused as you are on that..." Unable to help herself, she gave a small shrug, wishing she'd also knew why.
"Oh, I usually drink tea instead. Peppermint tea with milk!"
And without a minute longer, the cashier was in front of them. "What would you like to drink?"
"Sugar-coated cream cookies?" Miki frowns a little, tilts her head uncertainly. "Um, I don't think I've heard of them before... but, um, they sound very interesting! And... very... sweet?"
Yet the more that Chu speaks, the more she finds herself lulled into a sense of ease. Her posture relaxes, she's quick to agree to the seating plan, and she lets out a soft laugh at the caffeine comment. And in that moment, perhaps, she realizes that maybe the UNICORNS members aren't so scary after all.
After a quick glance at the menu, she points to a drink in particular. "I really like salted caramel drinks," she scratches her cheek a little. "Usually they're coffee-based, but... they're much sweeter, so the bitterness is not so bad, and, um..."
With a shy smile, she gestures to the counter. "I—I- I can pay? And, um, maybe... if there's a next time, then...?"
Chu mentally took note to prepare some of those cream crackers for Miki in the future. Maybe some other snacks as well that goes well with coffee.
"Salted caramel..." The words were quietly repeated, as if to ensure that the detail does not escape her memory. "Maybe I'll give that a try some time."
Being the one that usually takes the tab, she had to ask. "...Are you sure?" Every fiber in her being was telling her to pick it up but they can't very well be standing at the counter trying to settle that.
Eventually, Chu gave up. "Hum... alright. But next time's definitely on me, alright? You're the one that helped with bringing the reports over and with the day to day tasks."
Once the drinks were ordered and ready, Chu immediately ensures to swiftly come in to carry the tray, making sure to walk at her partner's speed over to their chosen seats.
After setting the drinks down and taking a seat, she now wondered what to say. Hoping she won't be intruding too much, she asked while stirring the straw in her cup. "So... What do you like to do on the weekends?"
It has been at least a week since her last announcement to Jeremiah about her move. Boxes that were piled up at the small front yard was finally cleared, its contents filling the small home.
Right. Everything looked good enough. No. Maybe it was perfect. Just in time to invite him over. Items are in order, there is food stocked up; perhaps they could attempt to cook together for that day.
Taking a small deep breath; it was somehow still nerve wrecking, she started to tap away on her phone.
📱💬 Hi Jeremiah!
Wait, that felt a little stiff. Delete, delete, delete
📱💬 Hi Jer! (I hope you don't mind me calling you that?) Finally got settled down. Are you free tomorrow? Wanna be my first guest? (˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧
And, send! Chu quickly tossed her phone into the depths of her couch pillows as she sat down, maybe slightly freaking out inside.
Jeremiah was excited to see his phone light up. Lately he'd been in an embarrassing habit of checking, just to see if it was from the one he wanted to hear from the most - and of course that meant her.
He rolled onto his stomach and felt himself grinning ear to ear.
[Hey there pretty lady! You bet I do! How's everything? Need anything? Just let me know when to drop by!]
Maybe it sounded too excited, but he couldn't contain it.
The ping made her jump as she frantically fished out her phone from within the jaws of the couch pillows. She had to take a quick breather after reading his text.
📱💬 Missed you too! Well, how about later tonight? I can make dinner! Or, if you need more of the sunlight... we could do it tomorrow (´▽` )
She hoped that she didn't sound too desperate, suggesting dinner out of the blue. This amount of affection was something that was new to her.
Feeling antsy while waiting for his reply, Chu decided to make a trip to the kitchen and check what's available. She ended up opening and closing the cabinets and fridge one too many times. Perhaps a simple omelette rice with hamburg for dinner?
[I've been out in the sun too much. I could use some stars and you. Your cozy balcony and dinner sounds perfect! ❤️]
Already eager to arrive at her place, he tried to distract himself with tasks like showering and doing laundry and some necessary cleaning and maintaining his cat.
A few hours later he was outside her door in a cozy jacket and a bouquet of her favorite flowers.
The sound of something scrambling and running around could be heard from behind the closed door. Maybe a crash or two on the floor.
Silence came just as quick before the door was unlocked. Chu was visibly sweating with some stray strands of hair flying out, as if she just came back from a run.
"HI! ... I mean, please come in. Pardon some of the boxes still laying around."
She quickly stepped aside to allow him in, bringing out some Twinkle merch themed room slippers.
"Dinner will be ready in a few minutes! I hope you don't mind a simple one." Her tone was one of anticipation laced with some nervousness.

Miki giggled. Quietly, at first, until it got loud enough that she had to stifle the sound by covering her mouth with the sleeve of her sweatshirt.
It wasn't often that the two of them had their schedules lined up, even less often for them to venture to a place a little louder for their usual tastes. Miki found Chu to be similar—a little bit on the quiet side, a little bit on the calmer side. It's what made hanging out with her feel comfortable, and most definitely what had gotten her to loosen up a little more.
But today was a little different.
Miki felt her shoulders still shaking with stifled laughter as she looked up at the screen—
They were currently at an arcade, and with the Chu's dance machine score had certainly been much lower than Miki had expected.
"Nailed it, I know. Thank you. Moving on."
Chu's words carried a tone of sarcasm that surprised Miki herself, but it only made the giggles even worse.
"Chu..." Miki caught her breath, clearing a throat and reaching out to pat her hand, "I-it's okay...! I'm sure if I played, i-it would be much worse still...!"
The stutters, this time, came from her trying to keep her composure.
"You're so cute... No wonder Xavier is so fond of you...!"
