ᯓᡣ𐭩 after Thousands of years of serving the diamonds you can't believe you're finally free, you're no longer their servant, now you can be your own person and achieve your own dreams!

ᯓᡣ𐭩 the first thing you did was going to earth to attempt little homeschool, place for gems to find themselves and live peacefully with each other, isn't that awesome??

ᯓᡣ𐭩 when you first arrived you were in complete awe, seeing all gems talking together, laughing and building, that you didn't notice you were staring while standing still for few seconds.

ᯓᡣ𐭩 "are you new gem who want attempt little homeschool?" a voice breaks you out of your awe as you look down and saw what you knew as 'peridot'

ᯓᡣ𐭩 after that peridot start showing you around little homeschool, showing you all their classes, introduce you to different gems, how peaceful life is on the planet earth

ᯓᡣ𐭩 on this little guide around little homeschool you two find out you have so much in common! similar hobbies, the same interest, she even put you in the show her and lapis love to watch, and you both love aliens!!

ᯓᡣ𐭩 a little noticably you two start spending much time together, at least when the other didn't have classes, talking about everything you both love and she even give you a show of her metal bending powers, as you show her yours as well!!

ᯓᡣ𐭩 you'd be lying if you said u didn't feel fuzzy inside from spending time with peridot, is it possibly because she was the first gem yo ever be your friend? you don't know

ᯓᡣ𐭩 but the more you think about it the more it burn you from the inside, you made alot of friends on little homeschool, but peridot was different, you didn't feel the same for her like you did with the others

ᯓᡣ𐭩 so who do you go to when you have hard feelings for another gem? garnet ofc!!

ᯓᡣ𐭩 you went for garnet asking for her advice on if your feelings are what do you think it is or you're just overthinking it.

ᯓᡣ𐭩 garnet just smiled at your enthusiasm, trying your best to explain what you're feeling, garnet just giggled at you as she put a hand on your shoulders

ᯓᡣ𐭩 after that you ask her what should you do or should you just wait, how long should you wait? what if peridot doesn't see you like that? what if-

ᯓᡣ𐭩 as you kept asking questions garnet put her finger on your lips shushing you completely

ᯓᡣ𐭩 "don't question your feelings, they're true and that's all you should care about, now go little gem, prove to peridot that you're worthy of love!"

ᯓᡣ𐭩 after talking with garnet you had your confident boosted, as you start spending even more time with peridot, showing your obvious favoritism to the gem (ofc not in harmful way) to a point where every gem knew your feelings for the little Scientist... well everyone expect peridot herself

ᯓᡣ𐭩 you'd always flirt with her telling how smart and amazing she is, how she's the smartest and funniest gem you know and instead of being flatter she just.. never seem to know that you're flirting with her

ᯓᡣ𐭩 oh you gave her an alien plushie? she's calling you her BEST FRIEND

ᯓᡣ𐭩 oh you said you wouldn't mind fusing with her? ohh, you're the best of friends ofc you'd make good fusion

ᯓᡣ𐭩 oh you'd stay all day watching her stupid show with her? besties!!

ᯓᡣ𐭩 other gems start helping too, like pushing you two to work together or be together all the time

ᯓᡣ𐭩 lapis inviting you with her and peridot to watch her show then excusing herself to do something before flying away making you two spend even more time together

ᯓᡣ𐭩 amythest teasing peridot after you flirt with her only for her to reply with "what is flirting?"

ᯓᡣ𐭩 bismuth even offer to plan your own wedding with peridot which got almost proofing yourself from embarrassment

ᯓᡣ𐭩 it get to a point where you were about to give up, you didn't wanna ruin the friendship you got since peridot def didn't seem to notice your advance , so you decided maybe you should spend a little time with her and with the other to get ride of your feelings

ᯓᡣ𐭩 and oh ho ho did she noticed this time

ᯓᡣ𐭩 whenever she ask you if you wanna hang out you'll just say you promised another gem to hang out with, at first it was fine, she also has other friends to hang out with and stuff to do

ᯓᡣ𐭩 but then everything start looking empty without you, you weren't there praising and encouraging everything she does, you weren't there to sneak out and watch stuff together anymore and she start seeing you less and less

ᯓᡣ𐭩 that's when she saw you spending time with amythest and pearl instead , you three laughing as you told a joke, then she saw you saying something before pearl blushed

ᯓᡣ𐭩 "what they're doing" she said, you seem to be closed to the two gems, and she felt... upset?

ᯓᡣ𐭩 she didn't mind you being friends with anyone, but you were avoiding her and spending time with others, hearing you praising them in the way you did to her and ONLY HER, seeing you spend hours with them like you used to do with her

ᯓᡣ𐭩 she didn't understand her feelings, she never gor upset over lapis having new friends, or Steven or amythest, but why the idea of you seeing someone else the way you used to see her.. make her upset?

ᯓᡣ𐭩 so she went to the only person that knows everything about emotions and who will understand her. Steven (you thought garnet didn't you?)

ᯓᡣ𐭩 "i just don't understand" said peridot sitting on Steven's bed as he was cleaning his room, completely listening to her

ᯓᡣ𐭩 "we used to spend every second together, she used to tell all kind of stuff, i never grew close to a gem this fast! but then.. they start avoiding me and instead doing OUR stuff with others!! can you believe that!"

ᯓᡣ𐭩 "peridot i think you're just jealous" said Steven laughing at his little friend ranting

ᯓᡣ𐭩 "jealous!!? why would i be jealous! i never like that with lapis or you, so why are they so... different!!" she said throwing her hands in the air

ᯓᡣ𐭩 "maybe because you don't seem them the same way you seem me or lapis" said Steven turning his attention completely to peridot now

ᯓᡣ𐭩 "what do you mean?" she said im disbelief

ᯓᡣ𐭩 "i think you should ask garnet, she'll give you the answer you want"

ᯓᡣ𐭩 peridot quickly rushed out of the room before quickly thanking Steven, going straight to find garnet.

ᯓᡣ𐭩 then she found her on the beach, watching the sunset.

ᯓᡣ𐭩 "i predicted you'd come, come on sit here" she said as she patted the place besides her which peridot quickly obeyed

ᯓᡣ𐭩 "you're here to ask about what you're feeling?" peridot nods. "well you came to the right person" she said before sitting up as her glasses shine as she turns to face peridot

ᯓᡣ𐭩 after while of peridot explaining everything again to garnet, garnet just listen with smirk on her face.

ᯓᡣ𐭩 "why are you smirking, you love seeing me struggle with emotions" said peridot as her head start getting hot with overload emotions

ᯓᡣ𐭩 "no, i just love seeing other gems in love" "say what now." said peridot even More confused

ᯓᡣ𐭩 "you my dear friend are in love with the gem" "OH MY STARS!"

ᯓᡣ𐭩 at first peridot denied it, saying there's no way and she only saw you as friend, but she then slowly start recovering every memory of you two together, all the gift you gave her, the sweetest words, indulging her in all your hobbies and listening to her talk for hours, she missed all that, but not in friends way, it's more than that

ᯓᡣ𐭩 "OH MY STARS HOW DID I NEVER NOTICE THEM COMING ONTO ME??? I'M SUPPOSED TO BE SMARTER THAN THAT" peridot said as the truth hit her harder than diamond blast

ᯓᡣ𐭩 "because love take times my friend, you wouldn't know it's love from the first sight"

ᯓᡣ𐭩 peridot just sigh, as looked at the sunset

ᯓᡣ𐭩 "do you think... they like me anymore? what if they.. lose feelings.."

ᯓᡣ𐭩 "that's for you to decide, no future vision can decided your future , but you will, now go get that gem before it's too late"

ᯓᡣ𐭩 with that peridot quickly nods as she went as fast as she me can to the warp, going straight to little homeschool where she knows she'll find you

ᯓᡣ𐭩 she might have been a little oblivious but not this time, she won't let this opportunity slip from her hand

ᯓᡣ𐭩 now she knows what are you to her, and she's sure it's much more than friends.
