When did rp blogs start using main tags again???

As a uk fan I hope starkid takes a break from the uk for a few years and goes to other places. For one it’s become incredibly expensive to travel to london as of lately and for two.. I just feel guilty that it’s ONLY The uk who is also getting starkid. They haven’t done tours outside of the US / UK since I believe apocalyptour (?) and it just feels like other places should get the chance to see them too. Like gross prophets by TCB went to Australia, why not do an Aussie show? I know the fandom is likely smaller there, but I just think they should widen where they go.

I feel like, in an attempt to be not parasocial, some fans encourage this idea that actors and creatives are these all powerful gods that we meek mortal fans can never dream of talking to and should ignore at all costs. They're also normal people.

Totally supportive of Starkid performing Black Friday and NPMD again, similar to how TTO had a second run in New York. But I think fully remounting them would be pointless when they already had higher budget productions with fancy camera angles in the proshots. I especially think trying to give Black Friday the TGWDLM treatment and taking it to the West End would be a terrible idea because it relies so heavily on references from TGWDLM. This doesn’t translate well to general audiences, especially when the Starkid fans scream as much as they do. We saw a lot of 3/5 stars from critics for TGWDLM but Black Friday would score even worse let’s be real. It’s a shame because the music is a lot stronger but the over-reliance on Hatchetfield references for comedy prevents it from working as a stand-alone show

I really can’t with the remount. I watched it live and it wasn’t as bad as i remembered. Obviously it might’ve been a different day they recorded, but still. They added so much random pauses, they’re too animated, and it’s just so off. It could be because it’s different from the original, but I’m not sure. I especially had a problem with Jeff’s characters. I like how they toned the songs down but still. Sam and Mr Davidson are so overly animated and it’s so annoying. I know the reason they did this was so more people could have access to it, but it just feels like a huge cash grab. Fan service in a way? Obviously probably not the exact phrase but it’s just not my thing

It's fun to toy around with the idea Starkid would make more remounts, but it's seriously not happening, at least not in the near future. Starkid has shown us the stuff they're working on and we're gonna get those for the next few years

if you genuinely think that people who enjoy melissa saying “omg my queen she did no wrong” means need you to tell them that murder is bad then you cannot be helped. you are not saving anyone from dark evil thoughts because they clearly think murder and torture is okay you are being condescending while simultaneously looking like someone who cannot distinguish “fans of fictional character” from “fans of murderers.”

Looking forward to seeing more women in the production team with Lauren directing and Ali assistant directing. Mere and Will were hanging out and doing rewatches, I hope that inspires more projects to come. (Maybe more remounts?) Yay women of SK! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Except jaxs misogyny is a product of her own self hatred/rejection of femininity. whereas ted, though I love him is just kinda . Like That. (I know there is more context to it, but its just not like. Anywhere near the same reason as jaxs issues) Idk the only resemblance between those two is a very surface level one.

More of a question than a confession, but I'm new to the fandom and I want to know, is there a way to download Pulp Musicals legally, outside of streaming sites like Spotify? I'm trying to move away from using streaming sites and I'd like to know if there's a way I can purchase or download the albums permanently, since I'd rather give my money to them directly.

Unpopular opinion but Ted isn’t a misogynist as he has female coworkers if he was such a woman hater her wouldn’t be working with them and would probably be fired for being unprofessional. Pete is also civil with his female friends which reflects off of Ted’s actions if Ted was a bad influence it would reflect off of his brother.

Idk what that person specifically said when they compared Jax and Ted but I'll say this: they do have similar personalities, I can totally understand the comparisons there. But they have pretty different reasons and bsckstories for the way they act.

I think Melissa is the only murderous Hatchetfield character I've ever seen people saying the actions of were completely justified actually, so I think pointing her out specifically is more fair than you think it is.
