“Can’t believe you would support killing a sweet little kid 😡” I cannot stress enough that he is a character. It is a character. I do not support real world Child Murder in fact I’m emphatically against it. But. That was a character. It was a narrative choice for the sake of The Story and my opinions on How The Story Was Told are not in the same category as my Real Life Morality. Otherwise stories would be boring.

People need to understand that Dick's relationship with Jason never took off because Jason never called him in spite of explicitly being encouraged to do so WHEREAS Tim worked hard to be close with him through multiple instances of breaking and entering. If you want to build a strong relationship with somebody it's crucial that you show interest in them, is the moral of the story ☝️

After he was resurrected, Jason could have successfully nurtured a brotherly relationship with Dick by dressing up in his costume and stalking him (a proven method) but he fumbled the bag by murdering people. Whups.
